Thank you for watching. If you know the model nr you can Google it. Most of the devices don't have schematics of there are in a payed software like borneo schematics. Also you can join discord groups en find schematics there. Gr. Jim

Hi there nice content really helpful for me since I’m learning, I’ve decided to take my old broken switch lite to try and fix it it has only the backlight on without any image what should I try (I’m using a normal phone charger to test it)

Thank you for watching. Backlight is in, most of the times means you console is working (booted). No image can mean that the LCD display is broken or the LCD driver is not working. Gr. Jim

Hi, if the home button does not work measure the switch with a multimeter, most of the time the switch is faulty or the pad / traces are damages or disconnected. Gr. Jim

Hi!! I have a switch lite which automatically switches on 30s after I shut it down. The repair was a blue screen of death with APU and ram reball and also swapped the MAX77620 and MAX77812. Do you have an idea why it is powering up itself?

Hi i had a Switch with the same issue, i did not repair it but i suspect a interrupt signal is send which powers the Switch on. The ON interrupt signal comes from the power button, next signal can come from the touchscreen the last signal comes from the WIFI IC. I suspect the WIFI IC is sending an wake up signal because in my case there was waterdamage near the WIFI IC. Maybe try to replace that IC it is a wild guess. Gr. Jim

Do you think a bad ball of MAX77620 can trigger EN0? Like it connects to a ball next to it?

Okay. At the end it was the MAX77620. Reballed and resoldered again, now everything works like a charm.
