I honestly like the Nintendo Switch Lite, don't have to worry about the controllers as much, plus I like playing games where I can see my screen and have the controllers right in front of me.

It defeats the purpose of the switch...

So far this is what I see Cons: -White buttons and joystick prone to dirt and becoming yellow. -awkward right joystick placement -no black border around screen -bad colors -no motion controls -no IR camera -no HD Rumble -no kickstand -no tv output -smaller screen causing eye strain -you cant throw just the tablet in the bag and put the joycons in a safer spot like the og switch because they are attached and will cause joystick to get dirty cause its made of rubber and rubber collects dirt. -controllers aren’t replaceable, there have been many joy cons with faulty hardware or stops working due to damage, joy cons would be easy to replace but this would not be. I think the og switch is the way to go.

For all the people complaining about no TV compatibility, consider it's a smaller Switch with same screen quality and longer lasting battery, if it was compatible with a TV prices would rise and it would be not even $50 cheaper than the original switch. Also for the ones complaining for the loss of joycons, just imagine how small would they be, the ones on the original switch already are small, imagine on the Switch lite

A slimmer switch with longer battery life and is cheaper. Apparently a lot of people use the Switch exclusively as a handheld. Also it doesn't make the original switch redundant/outdated.

This is marketed more towards kids , hence the brighter colors , and casing that appears to be more plastic , the switch was already portable .

So you know what I hate about these commercial? The fact the you cant see the screen in sunlight and this makes it seem like the are amazingly lighted to work outside. Nintendo you know damn well we all stay indoors.

They made this for Pokémon fans who needed a cheaper option because no one wants to buy that console just to play Pokémon, which is most often a handheld game. Which also means it opens up the market for me because I was dreading buying a Nintendo Switch just for one game that I care about.

Super Mario Party is unplayable on this if you have just the Lite, just sayin...
