Ever since Metal Jesus released his Switch collection video 3 years ago, I've been hoping for more collection videos that group the games into categories where people talked only about the games they'd like to highlight. I just find that format so much more engaging than an hour plus-long video of someone holding up their games one by one into the camera and saying either very little or too much about each and every game. You can imagine how very surprised and excited I was when I stumbled upon your collection video. I really love the way you presented it, and the way you speak so evenly and clearly is very calming to listen to. We have very similar taste, so it was nice to hear someone else's perspective on so many games I love. Thanks for sharing, and really hope to see more from your channel 🙂
Such a well organised collection it helps a lot with recommending similar types of games. In the process of starting a switch collection of my own there's so many games I'm looking forward to playing.
Do you ever see yourself getting into Minecraft? I used to not care for it much in it’s early years but really got into it eventually for its creative mode, building anything I wanted, and seeing other people’s worlds and creations. I don’t play it much these days, but it’s a fun time when your really dig into it, and play with friends as well.
I've tried to get into it but I only play to spend time with my son because he loves it. I did however enjoy the Minecraft Dungeons arcade last time I was at Dave and Busters. If the console game is similar, I could get into that!
I like how you grouped the games. Made the video a good length. I’m curious about the digital boardgames you have. I’m a big board gamer in addition to video games but haven’t played many on the Switch.
Thank you! As far as my digital board games; some of my favorites are Carcassonne, Sagrada, Club House Games 51, Mystic Vale and Happy Words. There's quite a variety of board games on the Switch.
@@easymodenerd There are! I have played most of the ones you listed on the table. Maybe not all 51 of the Club House games. 😀 I do have Ticket to Ride on my PS5.
@@roniboboni1214 I've play many of them on the table also but for solo play or travel I definitely prefer digital board games. The digital Ticket to Ride isn't on the switch but it's on almost everything else, so silly! Club House Games 51 is a collection of classic games like Chess, Black Jack, Backgammon and more.
Hi there, I’ve been on and off my switch but recently got back into it. I have 24 physical games at the moment at 111 digital games haha. I’m planning on more physical to come soon. I am going to start to get through my physical games first. I think I’ll start with Disney Illusion Island
@@easymodenerd thanks. I am a huge Nintendo fan and I’ve been wrapped up in to but I want to spend time on my switch. I’ve got a few games I want to play. Loads of Mario, Zelda and I’ll throw in a Pokémon in there.
Thank you for the heads up! I am aware of that now but I bought my copy close to the original release and had no idea at the time there was a better option. I have considered trying to upgrade but I do have X2 physically on other formats so I'm not sure if I will. I definitely go back and forth on this one.
Oh my goodness, you're one of my favorite RU-vidrs. I'm so flattered you watched my video. Some upcoming switch titles I'm looking forward to are: Touch Detective 3 + The Complete Case Files, Demon Slayer -Kimetsu No Yaiba- Sweep the Board and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. A couple that have already released that are high priority are Baten Kaitos 1&2, Prinny Presents NIS Classics Vol 3 and Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy. I do shop second hand a lot so I don't really keep a list of games; I'm usually more hunting for deals with a broad priority tier in my minds eye.
@@easymodenerd I've seen you comment a few times on my channel & didn't realize you also made videos until stumbling upon this one ^^ And I feel you about trying to shop second hand for the deals whenever possible! I have a very expensive list that I need to start narrowing down myself... the Switch truly is a beast when it comes to quality releases 😂
@@orbalology Well, I've only started making videos pretty recently. After New Years several RU-vidrs made videos about the games they played with in the last year and I was sad to realize that I could remember everything I had played; at least I couldn't list them out. I decided that making videos would be a fun way to help keep track. I've really been enjoying the process of making videos so far. It adds an entirely new facet to the hobby.

Thank you for sharing, great collection. I wonder why the esrb rating pictograms on the games covers have different sized little squares on different games. Do you by chance know why that is? Is it region related? And if so what region has the smallest pictogram on the cover? Thank you for sharing
@@easymodenerdthank you, i am European and as i like collecting i don't like the esthetic of the European age rating on the cover, it's to prominent. What i mean is, all your games have the same esrb black/white icon yet those icons vary in size on different games. I know it's a useless question but i am curious for the reason on that. Thank you
@@bizzlezip I see! The larger printed black and white is the North America ESRB. The smaller black and white is the Japanese ESRB. Personally I don't mind any of the symbols but most people do have a preference so I totally understand!
@@bizzlezip The Japanese rating system is called Cero. They have a nice small logo on the cover, but they also have a small strip at the bottom of the spine that has the logo again and a background colour that changes depending on the age rating (I've seen green, blue, black and yellow). Personally not my favourite aesthetic, but not the worst either. There's also the Asia English games - as the name suggests, these are released in Asia and are playable in English. The best thing about them is they don't have a rating logo at all so the cover art is nice and clean-looking.
How did u get that copy of final fantasy x/x-2 with them both on the cart? My stupid copy came only with x and 2 needs to be downloaded i would loved to have them both on the cartridge
My copy had a code for X2 as well but just doesn't have the warning on the front cover. It only says its download only in tiny print on the back. Only the Asia copies have X2 on the cart but I didn't know that when I bought my copy.

I never buy a game that someone within my household doesn't want to play. I only collect games myself or my family want to enjoy. Everyone has different taste.
