I am trying to figure out who they are. Lynn sounds kind of like Cherami Leigh, and Elma sounds like Mary Elizabeth McGlynn doing a younger voice. It is hard to tell though, I know I've heard those voices before. That said, I really am curious to know who NOA casts for the Avatar voices. The Japanese one had really famous voice actors from many popular Anime, so I wonder if this will be similar.

thepokekid01 I would love to have voice actors from the original Xenoblade here. Although from Lin and Elma, we're probably going to have American voice actors. I wonder if the European version will have British voice actors or just use the American voices because these characters are from the United States. It would be like the opposite of Xenoblade.

Probably if those in the UK want the game at the same time as us, they probably will get our dub, but it would be cool if a couple of those voice actors came back, especially as avatar option voices. I think in Japan, there were some voice actor/tresses from past Xeno games that you could select.

Kenneth Strait oh I love pokemon and fire emblem but they aren't as time consuming as other rpg's Pokemon takes time but it's almost second nature to me and FE is stage based so it's easy to pick up and play in short bursts.

Chaos_Knight Yeah that really bothered me too, it's not as noticeable when the camera cuts away from their faces but when they do show them it's pretty awful, oh well. Yeah I'm pretty sure Lin's voice is the same VA as Taiga in Toradora's English Dub, don't remember her name though.

inceptional Yeah they should have fixed this issue, it was a problem from Xenoblade Chronicles also where the characters shadows were circles.

I know it feels weird, but trust me, you don't all those little things just being in the way. i mean as a human it weird but as a mech its better to phase through hings.

Imagine one of the characters falling from an explosion and an enemy jumps on them and right before they stab them, you get a prompt that says "NO!", "Don't do it!", or "OH GOD NO!" ...

Devin Alexander but why can he speak then? He doesn't talk yeah but he still has dialog, there wouldn't be dialog options otherwise.

Kabegami The Great​ There's a reason you find out fairly early in the game that he can only speak in combat. It's extremely spoilery though, so be warned: ... Cross is not a human. He's a battle android built for war. He only speaks in combat because that's the way he was programmed. When people ask questions, he replys by nodding or shaking his head. (The scene that he finds this out in is super cool by the way). The dialogue options are for the player, not actually Cross asking them, if that makes sense.

hsapin I liked Fosdyke's manner of speech. The random NPCs seem to be kind of… giving tips more than anything? It's weird.

***** Xenoblade didn't have the best lip syncing either, but it was still a great game with great story cutscenes.

***** That scene looks to be a basic quest scene. In the original Xenoblade there were cinematic cutscenes with subtitles and full animations and camera angles and then basic custscenes where there were text boxes, stock animations and lip flaps. A cost cutting measure, but I think it's more noticeable here due to the higher quality models. I think the cinematic cutscenes of this game will have better lip sync, at least at the level of Xenoblade which did as well as it could've done really.

Hot Box Comix They likely had to sacrifice some immersion in order to have a smoother gameplay experience. Also you should put into consideration that this isn't something like a GTA or Saint's Row title; therefore, there's little point in causing random destruction in this game's setting.

I know it's not. I'm just saying, the Wii U should be able to handle the game and simultaneously support a fully interactive environment. It would just make the whole Skell-driving experience that much more exciting and satisfying. Either way I'm still very excited about this game.

Nintendo of Europe localized the first Xenoblade because Nintendo of America didn't think it would sell very well, so most of the characters in that game have various European accents. This game is being localized by NoA, and it takes place in a futuristic city called New Los Angeles.

Raphael Soon Yep, that's Lin. She's one of the main characters. If you've beat the original Xenoblade, you'll definitely recognize some things, but Monado hairclips are a little different than the actual thing. :P

Because that is GTA which is a game based on realism. This is an alien world that is bigger than GTAV and Witcher 3 combined in total size and NLA is a small corner of the game. This game only has collision detection for big objects like buildings, platforms, large rocks etc. It does not have collision detection for most other NPC's, cars, and the tops of trees. But this also makes sense why you can't hit people with your skell in this game. In this game humanity is a collection of refuges, and violence against another human would instantly antagonize one from the rest of the crowd. So if you are hoping to go on some great killing sprees in this game, you'll be dissapointed.

Devin Alexander I'm already dissapointed, thanks. I don't want a killing spree, I want a minimal sense of realism to keep me immersed in the game. When my character start going through trees, enemies, people, cars, that just breakes it for me.

I'm with you. I wish that they had collision detection for the stuff in the city at least. Oh well. I guess they had to cut some corners. The game can barely run on the Wii U as it is
