The Sacred bird cry seems really weak sometimes and other times it seems to do respectable damage. Maybe it does a set percentage amount of damage based on the enemy's max health. But it's still one of the best anima skills to use to fill your amrita gauge since it costs only 4 anima and gives you about 25%.
I agree it's a great way to fill up the amrita gauge as it costs little anima to use. As for damage, maybe a certain condition was triggered when it was doing higher damage, like melee damage vs zero ki enemy. One concern I have with this skill is the recovery time. I can't easily chain this skill with other skills because it takes more time to recover and the ranged version has no ki pulse.
@@exsanguine8913 it looks like that's the end of the new skills until next DLC. I'm waiting for one particular skill for the sword. I prefer new skills than new weapons tbh.

@@exsanguine8913 Ye im still at NG+ ( i became a dad 3 yrs ago and its hard to find time to play). Well i watched your vid and i was rushing the main missions to get the sub mission because i thought i will have to farm this. And then as i did the last main mission it dropped both. I thought that was regular but then i checked on some comments and noticed people are struggling sometimes to get any skill.
do these skill drops have a cooldown before you can get one again? i got the sacred bird cry second try but i've been fighting for hours and haven't gotten any others to drop
@@HustleL0ve It's given as a reward in the Eternal Rivals sub-mission. You can also farm it in the Abduction sub-mission the same way you'd farm a Yasakani Magatama.
@@exsanguine8913 What is the pants specifically? I have looked through my refashion and the only skirt/short option I have is Fuma Ninja and it doesn't look like the one on your character
