I gotta take a sec and just say that it’s insane how many builds Cowboy has started and built up in this game. I know he can just use a book of reincarnation to reallocate his stats but still so much time invested into making these builds. Thanks for putting this much energy into these games

Why not use the bird for the secondary? It gives a total of 15% additional lightning damage when paired with the stag.

Guys a tip for farming Divine Accessories. The mission with the boss Enenra, in the first map in NG+ has a guaranteed drop for Divine Accessories (from my testing) in the ledge above the final resting shrine (just before the boss). I haven't confirmed a Yasakani drop, but it's worth trying [Edit: I have also had a 1 purple drop in 15 runs, so it's not guaranteed Divine]

Hey, we talked about it in your last video and I decided to further ask about it on reddit and apparently there is a "+% Iai Quickdraw" skill in the game and people are saying it's on arm guards. Some of the replies I got on reddit: "Yeah, I've seen it (but I was using Night Rain so I didn't select it when Tempering). It's a little difficult to track them down because you seriously have access to a buuuuunch of attack skills when Tempering arm guards, but it's a good chunk of damage to tack onto any specific skill-focused build." "Lol i wasted 150 umbracite to roll % sign of the cross damage but all i see is Iai Quickdraw. Now we both know our skills are on arms."

That's the build I run and it's great. You use matazas armor set and the same guardian spirit. Roll lightning damage and shock accumulation on as many pieces as possible

Damage Bonus Familiarity only affects the weapon that it's on, and this is how it worked in the previous game. Damage Bonus Agility in the previous game worked on your melee weapons if your currently equipped ranged weapon had it, but for whatever reason my damage isn't changing at all, while some are claiming it's raising their Kunai damage in the hundreds... Also, Haze should be doing way more damage when you have the "more damage from behind" passives, along with Sword of Execution. It did in the previous game as well.

I'm doing this exact same build for my first playthrough of Nioh 2 (currently on region 6, almost done with the main story). The whole idea when I started was I wanted to do a build themed around Zenitsu from Demon Slayer, so seeing the Thunderclap and Flash opener was great. Guess Cowboy had the same idea.

This build looks really interesting but I don't want to get rid of my beloved Switch Glaive. I'm currently equipped with a devine Sohaya set (+6) and inflict +49% lightning damage via various perks, it does the job very well in ng+. An option could be to just equip the Warrior of the West set for some extra lightning dmg and extra dmg vs electrified enemies.

Not sure if you noticed but Shin Roku has the "Yokai Ability Damage (Brute)" effect and only two of your Yokai Abilities are red.

I am trying to make a build that is around water element cause if you get the enemy inflected with water it is supposed to make the enemy recieve more damage . Do you think its worth putting time into or is it not gonna be the damage i imagine ?

Fighting the final boss doesn't give you a Yasakani on every kill, the best way I found to farm them is to fight the little one eyed imps, the almost always drop a accessory, there's two of them on the mission The Missing gun in the Dream region I believe, you just spawn in, run in the left direction till you get to the abandoned house, and there'll be two little one eyed imps on the left and right, kill them then go back to shrine, it's a easy farm, I always get Yasakanis doing it that way,

Is the Wotw set viable as a mage? Im nearing endgame on my first run with an omnyo lightning build and I want to go with this set but I wonder if the 15 strenght requirement is too high for a mage to invest in.

Been waiting for a specialist to help me figure this out. I’ve literally been doing my own “lightning god” build but I’m a total amateur. Looks like we had a lot of similar ideas in some places, but I’m only running light armor for maximum mobility and ki. My issue with my build is that I’m not sure how to place my stats exactly as I’ve been trying to keep onmyo, heart, and skill equal at about 30 now and con at 14 for the master swordsman set. I’d love to try this build so I don’t die in two hits to everything, but I just can’t get over how slow I get as soon as I drop into the B agility range. Couldn’t get close to beating Honda at first because I accidentally went into B agility from A. Is there maybe a viable way to get a “lightning god” build to work with light armor?

Problem is both armor sets here are a medium and a heavy set. It takes a ton a stamina to go agility a if you want that. Katana doesnt scale with stamina at all unless you temper it maybe. For defense you can temper a defense bonus from magic on one of your accessories. For light armor i would go for any lightning bonuses obviously but any onmyo bonus too since there are not any light armor sets that have bonuses like the ones in the video

Katana was top tier in Nioh 1... was good against yokai and human enemies... had very good skill damage and final blow. I suspect Nioh 2 with all the yokai parries and forms dragged katana from top tier to somewhere in the middle

You mention that you need 17 strength for shin-roku (to get the anima bonus from shock). When I am viewing shin-roku, my requirements are 24 strength and 26 courage. Am I missing something?

I like using the DS for building element then switching to the sword for damage. You can refashion the DS to scale with heart, and they are only slightly behind the sword in DPS.

Hi I have a very similar build to urs and have more lightning damage and I only do a little over 2k damage using Lai when u do over 6k damage how is this possible? I tested this on the same enemy at the training dojo using a lightning talisman

Hell no lmao, there's literally respec books and a "Builds" option in the dojo after you beat final boss. I can instantly swap between them at the cost of a respec book.

The Silly Moose I suggest rebuilding your database, it really helps! My PS4 would sound like a jet engine when playing a few games, but since I finally rebuilt my database it’s doesn’t sound like a jet anymore. There’s plenty of videos showing how, it’s easy

@@Tyrynth Its definitely not the thermal paste.....the jet engine sound is your fan ramping up to read the information coming from your hard drive into memory and then to your GPU. By repairing your database which has fragmented information from saves and deletes over time, you reduce the amount of work your system needs to do to get that information. Additionally and equally as important is to make sure you clean the vents and clean the fan as these will attract dust and thus make your fan work harder to cool the system.

If you're into that, this is the game for you. There are so many different ways to play it. Also, changing your appearance and changing the appearance of specific gear pieces can be done anytime. You can really put whatever storyline you want behind your chatacter.

Updated version of the same engine. Graphics are somewhat improved, main thing that helps the visuals is the improved art direction though.

You probably know this by now but just before you forge a weapon press triangle when "forge" is highlighted, it will let you use up to 10 divine fragments if I remember correctly, for more of a chance of getting divine weapons etc.
