Your point on debuffs disappearing. I was farming Shuten and when I would proc saturation I'd see it disappear within a couple of seconds, this was without getting confusion off, and in other instances see it last the full duration. Both times was before he ever entered the dark realm stage. I've noticed some weird bugs through out the game, hanging scrolls still aren't working, and I'm not sure if it's an intended change.
Nice build man best thing about it is that I don’t have to get both of the star effect and the grace on a single piece of equipment because the RNG is really bad I really think team ninja should do something about it
I finally got to ng+ and I can tell you spear and dual swords are easily the best weapons I use both now lol, but I want that Scampuss hat you get for ng++ so I gotta grind more
Would this build or at least what I could put together in dream of the strong be effective or is this only for dream of the demon and above? I already got a yasakani drop from the DLC.
Could you change stats to 99 strength and skill to make it dual sword viable if I want to mix it up if I get bored with the spear? Since at least 40 constitution is required anyways
Hi. I don't understand. Why dont put pts into skill instead of heart for more dmg because spear scale on skill and not heart? Another thing that you scale A- ,B+ and D-. My spear doesn't do that even when I remodel. Thx for your great videos
If u see this comment, i wanna ask u, how u can update spear build in last nioh2 patch ? Mb another guardian spirit or armor? Or this ur vid actually in 2022 for all difficult in game?
No 180 level weapon? Can find some level 180 soulcores sometimes, then soul match a corrupted weapon and then soul match your main weapon with that level 180 weapon. Some more damage potential!
Perhaps, depends. If you like running a lot of long missions such as Twilight missions in full, then the current helmet is better. For boss fights and running Carnage or Soul Purge, Black Fox is better due to attack buff conflictions
The stats of your active ranged weapon also affect your melee weapon. So if you have a bow with Damage Bonus Agility, this bonus will also apply to your melee, if the bow is the current “active” weapon.
Not sure what you mean, but if you mean "Attack Bonus Magic" on your weapon, then yes it's the same as any other stat if you have it at 99. You can't scale your Spear via re-modelling with magic though, so you will still want 99 in Spear relevant stats to do that. Spears typically scale with Constitution, Strength, Heart or Skill depending on the Spear
@@Xenoswarm yes that's what I meant, using the magic scaling stat, I know the spear doesnt scale with magic, I should have been more clear, and thank you for answering my question
Damn! Great build, tried to do this build somewhat close to yours but I have no luck getting the right stats and grace when forging the gear. How can you do so many different builds so quickly and get exactly the right stats all the time without running out of materials and money?
The only efficient way is through Save-scumming which means BEFORE you start crafting, you upload your save to the cloud or USB. Then you craft 10-20 times for your item. If you don't get the rolls you want, you re-download your save and start again. That's how you keep your materials. In terms of time, there is no solution. I spent most my night just crafting for the helmet to have Inari + Anima for example. For this build I didn't need to farm the armor or weapons because they were re-cycled from my last build. I only needed to craft the spear and helmet, then soul-match/temper/inherit them.
i never had much use for the guardian spirit skills. it looks like you're using it while not being in yokai shift, i didnt know this was even possible, how?
Because you can re-model the Holly Spear to scale with strength. So, the armor is very heavy, so if we invest in strength we don't need as many points in stamina, whilst still investing in a main damage stat. This only works if you re-model the weapon to scale with strength and another stat (i.e constitution)
I know the feeling. That happened to me with every build I've copied from youtube. I finally made my own build and it turned out stronger than I expected so I posted a video on it.
