Nioh: Sanada Yukimura Boss Fight - Defiant Honor DLC (1080p 60fps)

Fun fact as the fighting raged around the real Sanada, the exhausted Yukimura collapsed on a camp stool. He had been fighting along side his men in every engagement and was said to be the greatest warrior on the battlefield. Nishio Nizaemon, a Tokugawa samurai, recognized Yukimura and charged forward, issuing a challenge. Unable to muster the strength to fight, Yukimura acknowledged who he was and took off his helmet. Seconds later, his life came to an abrupt end. He may not have died in game yet, but what they did here was a really nice callback to his real death.

That fight between Sasuke and Hanzo was sweet. Fingers crossed for Kotaro Fuma for the next DLC.

Probably one of my favorite boss fights in this game along side with Date Masamune since those 2 actually intimidated me but this guy is my favorite boss in the dlc but how I beaten him on my first play try (Maybe is just the music during the fight on his first encounter but his transformation I got at the teahouse is my favorite)

When I got to this boss, he absolutely kicked my ass...If the Fight Drags on long enough he is incredibly fucking hard to dodge and counter with his Tornado's and Dashes. Currently the Hardest Boss in the game IMO, til I make an OP Tonfa Build and Melt the Boss XD

How good is Yukimura as a warrior/commander? I know that Tadakatsu Honda is unanimous number 1 but is Yukimura better than Muneshige Tachibana?

This is the single non duo hardest boss in dlc.

It's kinda annoying to see some people use the slow debuff on bosses. I fought this guy like a man without the slow debuff. And boy was it a blast! Edit: In hindsight, I had a pretty elitist attitude when writing this comment and REALLY could've worked on my tone. That's a no-no, simply put. However, I STILL hold the belief that I personally dislike using slow due to it's ability to trivialize certain bosses. These days, I ain't gonna knock someone for using it.

I really wish they didn't give all of these samurai bosses unlimited hyper armor when they're in living weapon. They're already breaking the games rules by being able to spam it repeatedly with little to no cooldown so in my opinion, they shouldn't get all of the benefits the player gets from it. Punishing this guy when he's using living weapon is nearly impossible if you're not stacking heavy armor since he just instantly recovers and poises straight through my attacks. Same goes for date masamune and maria. These samurai fights literally just turn into me running around waiting for them to blow all their ki. It's pretty boring tbh. Really wish they gave these bosses more interesting moves instead of just giving them unlimited hyper armor. It's a pretty lazy way of increasing difficulty. Soundtrack is sick though.

In this game, the bosses are so weak, or so OP. And this far is the most annyoing. Infinite living weapon, infinite burning.

I had the bug, that I killed him after over 7h, so that I could finish the mission and the last cutscene enters, but when the game brought me to the mission map, there is no mark on his quest, so I had to do it once again.

I must do something wrong in this Game. I do 300dmg/hit with my katana and I get 1-2 hit every time while he tanks through everything and does absurd dmg

For me, the best fun I had in the game was destroying the 4 Braves + Sasuke with just backwave/tempest successively followed by beating Sanada in the Fare for the Afterlife submission.

I was probably massively underleveled, cause I couldn't take 3 hits from this guy before perishing.

I don't like this boss. Spamming Living weapon seems like such a cheap tactic to me and when you use it it doesn't last for nearly as long and you can't do any of the stuff the bosses do with it. You can tell me to git god all you like but it won't change my opinion.

So, i'm the only person on this earth that find this boss one of the worst optimized? living weapon spam, hyper armor, massive damage and insane combos and still people love this figth. I can''t understand why everyone love this mess called boss.

Nioh is such a cool game but the bosses are so disappointingly easy. Just go in and smack them or debuff and smack them. I want next Team Ninja game to have more imaginative boss battles.
