This video is heartbreaking. To see Nipsey talk so profoundly about his maturation and recognizing the pitfalls of violence, then be gunned down in the midst of living his life as a powerful man. Tragedy of the highest level.
If only Eric could have seen this maybe he would have changed his mind. Instead he let greed and the PD dept. trick his stupid ass into agreeing to do the unthinkable.
East Africa somaliland respect for this brother.we somalilanders have special love for Eritrea we hade war with somalia and the hade with ethopia we both won the war 1991 Eritrea got ther independence from ethopia and somaliland declared independence but did not get reconised til this they somaliland is not reconised but the first African country to come on a official visit and show us support is Eritrea.the horn of africa one family
Borame hargeisa laascanood burco berbera cergabo Stop trying to separate somaliland and Somali, Somaliland is not a superset state it’s apart of the greater country Somalia, its only a providence
@iam NoOne nothing wrong with expressing yourself, there’s reasons Nip is relished from here on. Taking out your anger on strangers is an effortless way to be forgotten. Wishing for ya healing bro ✊🏿
Did you meet him yourself? His death was such a HUGE loss for humanity. He was truly trying to change things in the hood and change the way of thinking that plagues those in poverty
Facts, she only won because they needed the ratings and she was the popular one also part of me thinks it was them getting back at Nicki idk how a performer who didnt write her own songs can win a grammy but i digress
I wish you left a timestamp cauze I'm literally herelooking for that comment for a clip. But at least I know it's this video. Thanks. I remember him saying this and it's very concerning.
Thank you #DROKOH channel for being the reason why i am smiling today. Your herbal medication for Herpes is indeed an active one keep saying lives sir.

That's just my opinion I'm from the PAC era so I'm speaking from what I seen then and now. Pac was just at his prime as well! He was taken right as he was heading in that direction Nipsey made it there.
Let’s take a look back at Nipsey’s life .He came from an African American and and African lineage .He embraced his african roots and talked about how his trip to Africa pretty much started shaping his whole perception about life .(Meanwhile some Africans don’t even want to admit they are from Africa after they make it out of there ) . He grew up in a neighborhood where all odds were against him but he overcame and gave back .He could have taken a record deal, settled for some money and gotten himself and his family out of the hood but he was selfless and a man of his words so he worked hard to build his own record label /businesses (The Marathon) and started making an impact in his community and even tho he didn’t have the fame like most of these rappers ,he still kept going because he wasn’t doing it for himself . He released just one album after all these years of hustling and titled it “victory lap” .It’s like he almost knew it was going to be his only album after all these years of running his marathon. All these years he has been living and teaching us through his music and interviews but most of us wasn’t paying attention and I bet if he wasn’t taken from us the way he was (which is senseless) it might not have hit us the way it’s hitting us now and making us pay attention the way we all are now . Looking back I’m starting to believe this was his true purpose in life .Now it’s up to us to continue the marathon and bring to life more Ermias (God will rise /uplift ), Joseph (betrayed by a brother) Asghedom AkA Nipsey Hussle . THE MARATHON CONTINUES . Empower one another and let us step into our greatness collectively just like how he wanted it . ( P.S I usually don’t comment on social media or listen to rap music anymore so when I got the notification on my phone about his death , I thought to myself ohh another rapper has been killed (which is what the conditioning of this world does to us and lesson learned)but later saw more post of him and the DR. Sebi after work and then his interviews and I started paying attention and started hitting me as if he was an immediate family and I haven’t been the same since he passed .Its been 10 days and I’m still stuck with everything Nipsey hussle . He was too real for the world we live in now ) You truly are “THA GREAT “ !!!!!
Nana Agye you wrote how I feel....He is The GOAT....He created his own wealth through his music...a life that he spoke about in his music....I know one thing to be true...He is a true Legend. I have never grieved another celebrity like I did Nip. I felt something soooooooo different. One thing for sure that I am positive of and have experienced is that his energy (spirit) is so strong and heavy....He emptied himself out. Although I never met him, I feel like I knew him....What an EXTRAORDINARY MAN....GENUINE AND HEARTFELT INDIVIDUAL....THE MARATHON CONTINUES....IT HAS TOO...HE WON'T LEAVE US ALONE...ESPECIALLY THOSE OF US WHO PAID ATTENTION...PICK UP THE BATON AND RUN ON...RIP NIP....WE LOVE YOU...
7-23-19 *Well stated* You are right. All of us have a true purpose. We just need to reach for it, apply it, and share it as to teach another so that each individual marathon continues, thus, building a better world. When I am standing in line at a store, library, ect.: It doesn't matter if I don't know that person next to me. I have no problems to look at them, smile, and say "How are you?" 99 percent of the time, it's a smile returned, and so many times a person would actually say what's bothering them (hot outside, line too long, etc.). Just continue the marathon in *your* positive, beautiful way folks. God bless
@@060kingdrive9 Maybe he did, maybe he didn't, The point is many people are now learning, and that is a good thing. Even this can promote change. We don't need to be rude or judgemental to others though..I think this would be against Nipseys way of treating people... Right?
They may have killed his earthly body but his spirit, soul, and music will live FOREVER!! RIP young Man, you have changed my life in a matter of days.....
Nipsey hussle was one of the most important black people in American history. Intelligent, visionary, positive, woke and there for his people. His transition from a gang member to his position as a famous rapper and his vision ... All the changes he could have brought. He's the most important person killed after Malcolm x, MLK, no matter who killed him
oridniv Sis I’m feeling the same way sitting here watching this and asking why. He had so much more to contribute and he hadn’t really got started. Envy and jealousy took him away all because a individual didn’t want to take the time to better themselves and didn’t want the reminder of who they really were😥😥😥
right he not a better rapper than some of the names ebro brought up but he probably do more for his community than Jay z and he dont have a deal who do that he basically split like 60 40 of his bread to take care of his good and only people of the hood get the jobs
It's sad how there are so many almost Nipsey Hussles out here, but because they aren't famous or don't rap. No one takes them serious. In other words, appreciate that Nip near you. The one in your family, in your neighborhood... but to Hussles credit, he made his lane regardless
The loss of Nipsey Hussle feels the same way hearing about the loss of Tupac and BIG to me. This is a moment that will reshapes the HipHop Culture. Devastating. May he live forever🙏🏾✊🏾.
To be honest I almost think it's worse.... he was such a leader, an inspiration, not beefing with anyone. Such a senseless act!! He will be missed more than he'll ever know 😥 the world has really lost a great one, way too soon x
I feel the way as well. But I’m trying to understand why, given that he was not as well known as big and pac at the time of his death.. but his passing is resonating just as much..
@@bendedstraw4294 World worshiping him like he's God. Even the white man CNN news caster got him all over news..WoW!😮 Like they neva heard of a person dying by a gun🔫 He only helped his community not the whole world community out here. All these other lil cities suffering from hungry and living homeless on the street..Smh
Im eritrean, born in america cali, Nipsey hussle was such an amazing person my father who was born in africa was the one that told me.He was so rich but so humble, and he didn't talk about multiple girls choppa to a head, he spoke facts, i only 12 but even i can tell how much wisdom.
Nipsey drops waaay more knowledge than he gets credit for. When is the last artist of any genre that was able to break down Maslow's hierarchy of needs this clearly and apply it to gang culture?
Ebro's energy this entire interview is overwhelming. Nipsey was obviously a legend during the interview (as we, the public, always knew him). But seeing Ebro's response to Nipsey's presence is important.
I feel like they both had a mutual respect for one another and brought that respect to the conversation. If you notice, they both were shaking their legs in a way that expresses some kind of excitement, almost like a dog when they wag their tail (not calling them dogs of course). I can tell they both were enjoying the conversation because they knew their intellect matched perfectly, they didn't have to dumb their convo down to each other. Those convos are rare sometimes when you want to build on these types of subjects because alot of our people ain't into that. Respect to both of them and Travel in Peace Mr. Ermias "Nipsey Hussle" Asghedom ✊🏾
Just listening to him talk, u can see how different he was from a regular “Rapper” he talked like a boss, a business man who wanted more than what people wanted to give him. Pure elevation in everything he did and wanted to do, no slacking and that’s why he reached the level he did. Damn shame a peasant took down a King 👑 and left the people to mourn 🙏🏾💙🏁
He's soul is so pure, his inner person was on point, his vision were unique and with true thoughtful meanings. But like they say the legendary never dies
Dam he is profoundly deep with an futuristic perspective...He knows his worth and he seems to give 1000% to his fans and the world...I have downloaded several songs and I have never heard of him until now...True artist...We have lost one of the greatest ones....RIP Mr. Nipsey Hussle...
Listen to Victory Lap cause his message is very deep. When I heard of his passing it touch me in a way that I can’t describe. To know what he was trying to do for his people and to be taken away for nothing it deep down hurt. Brought me to tears. I’ve been following his movements for a while. I listen to his whole album front to back atleast twice a week. I know everyone say he’s was the 2pac of this generation but to me he was more. He gave you music, knowledge, and ways to better yourself and a chance for people to do better. He said it and done it. 2pac to me only said it. He had a meeting the next day with the chief of police in LA on how the could end gang violence and bettering the police with the community but tragically he was killed by a boy on March 31, 2019 for no reason at all. RIP KING NIPSEY HUSSLE.
I am a 2pac listener, and I can tell you, this dude is more serious and in action than pac, its supposed to be a great lost for people who is associated with him, then again, when u put in perspective how young pac died I would take that back, pac died basically just out of child mode, so it's hard to compare him to pac, nipsy is more experienced than pac i think, so with that said, we did not loose another pac, we lost nipsy hustle
Anyone else thinking about nip right now? God put him on my heart the past few days. I love his music and I’m sad his death was my introduction to him. Shout out to his brother Sam keeping their legacy alive and making sure the marathon continues
Ive watched this 5 times since his death and that part when he speaks on gang culture and telling ur homie the truth is so deep but it hurts my heart to hear him say it 🙏💙 May u rest in powerful peace king Nip 👑👊
@@marciaheadley9933 I know now...I knew of him but didn't know he was a rapper..the more I look at his interviews videos and listen to his music...it kills me deeply that I didn't know him fr til now..I have fell in love with him now and now it's too late that he dont know I'm a fan now
@@robynettepritchett4373 Understood. We can, however, continue the Marathon by doing the good and beautiful life lessons he taught us,. He is a strong and beautiful soul. RIP Nipsey ❤❤
I could listen to Nipsey forever. Brilliance in such a cool composed delivery. It pains me so much that he’s gone. I’m just so grateful to be in a place with my spirit that I realize he did what he was meant to do and went home. Regardless of what we know, he fulfilled and showed us so much more in his short life than most do ever. 💔🙏
Eric Bell I think that’s a problem with my other Africa brother not being proud to be black and even dating outside of race too much if u look at East Africans most likely married to their own not chasing white chicks and always together that’s what all of us black people should be together!!
cause he aint flashy, wildin out and following what's cool. He's spreading truth, inspiration and staying true to his beliefs as a human. That doesn't sit right with some people when you talk about sensitive topics like bettering yourself to be successful. People still think thats a gimmick and the only way to be successful is if you got it from your parents or you had to be a sleezy businessman to make it.
Crazy how this is on my timeline after Chad Boseman passes away , and to hear how Nipsey was talking about the movie Black Panther for example on his heritage .. RIP NIPSEY AND CHAD BOSEMAN🙌🏽🙏🏽💯RIP to all the ones that passed away 2020🙌🏽
Don't care who doesn't agree with this, but we as an African American society who loved and supported him fully, still failed this man. Real Talk. I surely hope we learned from this in a major way. Everyone can wish the best through Social media, but until we stand up and carry his legacy, and his family up on our shoulders, we haven't learned anything. We failed to protect his level of intelligence, influence, and his amazing body of work. The way he carried himself with such passion and purpose, especially FOR US, and the edification of his community and his people, was nothing short of incredible. It Hurts deeply man, Real Deep. We Love You Nipsey, Rest in paradise.
Only man legacy am carrying is the man that died on the cross and shed blood for our sins. The man that gave me life on breathing now. God can only give a life and take away a life no other man b4 God..I don't worship mankind....Government supplying mostly the poverty for poor ppl across the world...But Rip Nispey😘🌷
He is so right, none of us that grew up in South Central LA started that way, the environment in which we had to walk to school gave us no other options. It was either "Fight" or be harmed.
he was referring Abraham Maslow.... his intelligence, his swag and his attitude represent the true definition of a black man. RIP Ermias, you will forever be missed.
Was so proud to buy Victory Lap. Was completely broke when Crenshaw came out. Inspired by Nipsey interviews during that time, and got it on DatPiff for free. Loved it so much. Years later, so proud to have upgraded in life some. Bought Victory Lap on release day. Work in progress.
Nipsey stay putting in the work man. Good Dude, contributes to the youth & makes good music. Glad his album is getting a Dope reception all around not just within his Dedicated Fanbase. Salute to Nipsey one of the Dopest artist out of the west coast over that 6/7 years 👊🏿🙏🏿
@@terrirnbsn3596 it depends on how woke you were and which teacher taught it. It shows that it stuck with him because not just a HS topic, but rather middle school.
His death hit me hard. I shed tears and didn't even know him personally. I've been following him for a while. It's just sad that things turned out this way.
I can't believe I actually saw him randomly about 10 yrs ago at a restaurant... I saw him and his friends seated right next to me so I acknowledged him and he shook my hand. That was that but I've been thinking about it a lot lately since he passed away. Like as if it were meant to be a profound moment of my life. R.I.P. Nipsey. You will be missed.
Yo.. did this dude just bring up the Maslow Hierarchy of needs? Whoa. To understand the vulnerabilities of people at a scientific level is mad impressive. Especially when you are trying to correct them. Salute sir. The Marathon WILL continue.
@@riffraff1880 Its a psychology model that explains the hierarchy of an individuals needs. I use it as a marketing guide to define what customers' needs need met. But it can also be used as a roadmap for selffufilment. It ranges from the foundational basic needs (food, water, shelter), and graduates to the pennical of more complex, self fulfillment, needs (self-actualization). The theory is that one cant get to fulfilling the more complex needs without addressing the basic needs. This may summarize why some poor environments produce people that are stuck in survival mode, never developing, or tapping into, the pennical of their potential.
@@riffraff1880 Maslow was a psychologist who said we humans spend our lives trying to advance through 5 levels of need. Satisfying basic physical needs is first and foremost. Once we're straight on that front, we move on to the next level and then the next level, etc..
This is probably one of the best Nipsey interviews I've seen to date. This guy is really genuine. I believe he's going to do more now that he's made the transition than he could ever do in the flesh. All things happen for a reason. In my opinion he trumps Pac as far as being for the people. Maybe it was his maturity. Maybe it was the trip to African, experiencing his culture. Whatever the case, he had a specific path.
I’ve been on Nipsey since Marathon, and I’ve listened to every album continuously since Sunday. I’m enlightened by his spirit and wisdom, and I’m 48 years old. It just goes to show, you can learn something from anyone is you LISTEN! I love you Hussle The Great!
Remember when he said how Og's soaking up game/listening to his every word? Something like that he says in one of his songs. So I overstand WHY at any age he is relatable. He holds genuine Wisdom & didn't mind sharing vital OUTFORMATION & Economic strategies & positive moves & plans...his Spirit is simply Beautiful, in & out.
Love his interviews... so knowledgeable and mad truth.. his conversation is real .. the way he dissect topics and the analogies he use.. he speaking psychology (Maslow) and street knowledge.. this brother was definitely rare, and we were just seeing a glimmer of his greatness to come, when you watch his different interviews you can see the growth & change that evolved in him ..Dope💙🏁
This cat had a quality about him. Now I understand. Be careful out there when you've awaken and are in a position to enlighten others. I never listened to the man or his music but after hearing this it sounds like a great loss. R.I.P.
you are NOT WOKE .....you got a lot to learn. I'm so sorry to tell you. This Fuckery. NO ONE KNEW HIM THE NEWS MADE HIM OVERNIGHT. WAKE UP. HES PLAYING A CHARACTER NAMED NIPSY. GOD THE MASSES NEED TO WAKE UP.
Thank you all for doing research prior to having King Nip on. I respect how the interview went.Every person connected and centered a cohesive conversation! Respect fam! Rest up NIP. Your influence resonates.”Seeds to Harvest” #Authorsandranorthard
Every time I try to watch a Nipsey interview, my heart just can’t take it. 💔 Still can’t believe he gone, and probably never will. Rest In Peace, Nippy. I miss you more than you’ll ever know.
I can’t stop watching Nipsey videos. He was clearly a bright man who wanted so much for himself, his family and his community. May his soul Rest In Peace forever and may the marathon continue.
