This just hurt my soul...Jealousy is a ROTTEN emotion. Nip should still be here. I attended his funeral at Staples and it was beautifully done. This makes me shed tears all over again. Rest in Power, Nip 💙 #Hu$$leAndMotivate
I didn’t get there in time but I was outside Staples and even from outside, the energy was next level. There will never be another Nipsey Hussle in our lifetime and it’s so sad bc he should still be here. He lived in his truth and power and stayed when someone of his caliber wouldn’t. Even Boosie spoke the truth when he said most rappers die in their own city. 😢 RIH Neighborhood 💙🏁
You did a phenomenal job on this video essay of Nipsey Hussle. You beautifully chronicled his life as though you traced his footsteps in the sand. BRAVO 👏 👏
Remember the day he passed man. I dont cry when a Celebrity passes but on this day i did. And i remember the Scene of Nipsey and his Granny in the Music Video for "Racks in the Middle". Where they toasted on a private Jet. I kind of sensed that what he has done was solid and special! RIP Nipsey!
They are ALL jealous. Snoop was jealous as hell when 2 Pac first got there and outshined his azz an Snoop didn't like that, he secretly hated 2 Pac and was scared. We thought he was a hardcore crip when it turns out he's a lil bish.
The irony of the guy at the store opening saying that major corporations and CEO's aren't capable of opening up places in those locations and then Nipsey losing his life at said location isn't lost on me. Anyway such a sad story, you did a great job. RIP Nipsey Hussle
He's wrong tho because big corporations open up stores and businesses in hoods all over the country..also other cultures like Asians Arabs and east Indians also open up businesses in hoods all over the country..what dude was actually saying is famous blk peope can't open a business in the hoods
I had the honor of meeting Black his Kids their Grandma very Amazing People in 2020 when my Cousin Tamika passed unexpectedly. She is the Girlfriend and Mother of (Cam) Nipsey Best Friend Fats who was Killed outside of his Barbershop in 2017. All I remember Black saying how Contagious my Cousin Spirit and such a Beautiful Soul she was ... RIP FATS, NIPSEY & TAMIKA ❤ GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN- (Auntie Rachel, Uncle PA Rob Cousin Kory, Keri and BabyCam)
Nipsey is the inspiration to every natural born hustler that's been grinding to get to that next level..the day he died it hit me real hard ..it was like losing a real stand up homie ..i couldn't listen to his music for a few months..i remember when i started listening to his music and watching his videos again thats when the tears ...i was one of the first dudes in my city that had a marathon cap and hoodie ... Slauson boy two and Crenshaw should have been albums but VL is a classic album thats well put together it hurt me that he didn't win that grammy but i liked how positive he was about it and gave cardi her props on her grind...rip nipsey
I wouldnt say the inspiration unless your a youngin. But he definitely pushed the hustle get it all from nothing mentality. RIP to bro he was a smart mfkr he shouldn't have been killed the way it happened. He should've had security or the piece ready to go.
4:32 I damn near broke down in tears. AGAIN. I REALLY HATE hes no longer here in the physical, BC DAMN !!! He changed SO MUCH and could’ve bring together a WHOLE change and togetherness. Rest in PARADISE and LONG LIVE Tha Great! 🏁🏁
There are a lot of videos on Nipsey but none of them are as good as this retrospective. The way you break down his life story from his early years to current times is by far what makes this video stand out against all he other ones. It's so detailed and easy to understand, just all around a great retrospective! 💯👍👏
King Nip wasn't from this world he really had a vision only one can imagine. I appreciate all that King Nipsey accomplished being here on earth, it still hurts till this day , that his life was cut short to keep him silent, but you can't keep King Nipsey Silent cause his spirit lives on thru each , everyone of us . Love you King Nipsey Hussle.😭💙💙💙💙💛💛💛💛💔💔👑💎✌

This the comment I was looking for!! So many ppl are in denial. After watching this doc and innovative he was yeah he was about to give them higher ups a run for there money.
This is one of the best documentaries put together, listening to victory lap is one of those albums that can inspire you forever. Watching and listening to him and thinking about him every single day as a true honest, loyal fan. I never knew 2pac was special because I was born when he was killed but I was on Nip early first ever song I heard was “all get right feat j stone. After that I followed him ever since all the way from Australia. TMC worldwide 💙😮💨👊🙏 still feel like he is alive and well 😢

He was born of an eritrean blood, same with ethiopians they have enterpreneural spirit. What a one in a million, an amazing visionary taken from us so soon.
**Nice documentary! I asked Chat GPT to come up with a documentary structure to cover* the life and story of Nipsey and this is what it gave me!* Title: The Marathon Continues: The Life and Legacy of Nipsey Hussle Act 1: The Rise of a Revolutionary Spirit - Beat 1: Introduction to Crenshaw, Los Angeles, and the socio-economic struggles of the community. - Beat 2: Nipsey's early years and his journey from Eritrea to South Central LA. - Beat 3: The influence of his parents and the formation of his entrepreneurial mindset. - Beat 4: Nipsey's passion for music and his breakthrough mixtapes that garnered local attention. - Beat 5: The creation of his independent record label, All Money In, and his determination to redefine the music industry. Act 2: The Hustle and the Blueprint for Change - Beat 1: Nipsey's vision for uplifting his community and the birth of the Marathon Clothing store. - Beat 2: The intersection of music, business, and community empowerment in Nipsey's life. - Beat 3: The impact of his mixtape series, "Bullets Ain't Got No Name," and his growing influence. - Beat 4: Nipsey's dedication to financial literacy and his investments in tech and real estate. - Beat 5: The tragic loss of his close friend, Kevon Harris, and the motivation it provided to continue his mission. Act 3: A Legacy Cut Short - Beat 1: The release of his highly acclaimed album, "Victory Lap," and its impact on the music industry. - Beat 2: Nipsey's commitment to reducing gang violence and fostering unity through initiatives like the "Unity Walk." - Beat 3: The tragedy of Nipsey's untimely death and the shockwaves it sent through the world. - Beat 4: The outpouring of love and support from fans, fellow artists, and community leaders. - Beat 5: Nipsey's enduring legacy, from his philanthropic endeavors to his message of self-empowerment and resilience. Act 4: The Marathon Continues - Beat 1: The establishment of the Nipsey Hussle Foundation and its dedication to community development. - Beat 2: The ongoing impact of Nipsey's teachings and his influence on a new generation of artists and entrepreneurs. - Beat 3: The unveiling of the Nipsey Hussle Memorial Tower and the symbol of hope it represents. - Beat 4: The annual Nipsey Hussle Day and the celebration of his life and achievements. - Beat 5: The call to action for individuals to carry on Nipsey's legacy and continue the marathon of progress. Outro: - A reflection on Nipsey Hussle's enduring spirit, the impact he made during his lifetime, and the inspiration he continues to provide to this day. - A final call to honor his memory by striving for excellence, fostering unity, and empowering our communities. Note: The beats mentioned in each act represent significant events or themes that would be covered in the documentary. The actual content and duration of each beat may vary based on the production and storytelling choices. This is crazy right!? AI is about to change the world of filmmaking. Stay up on game!
Nothing but respect and love. Nipsey understood the importance of fatherhood, family, and building generational wealth. Above all, he genuinely wanted to see all his people elevate. 💙🏁
Nipsey hustle’s death will always be one of the hardest hitting deaths in the music industry for me. This man is the embodiment of inspiration. Even more now that I know his story and what happened. It is crazy how one idiot could take out one beacon of hope from the entire community over essentially nothing.
I am in agreement with a whole bunch of others--this has to be one of the best documentaries I have ever seen. What I noticed, too, is that you took an approach that other documentarians seemingly miss: You covered none of the negative in a cliché manner (those on-camera moments with the late Mr. Asghedom checking someone, etc.) and those necessary omissions made this documentary all the more powerful. Too, this documentary went hard and productively for the entire 2 hours and 6 minutes. Thank you for investing the time and labor into honoring this brotha and his Hu$tle. We all know no one is perfect, but in the Rap/Hip-hop game, he seemed savvy at navigating the terrain as well as building a brand and remaining true to his core vision. What they accomplished in that strip mall complex, The Marathon, makes his murder seemed much bigger than the suspect's actions. I am from an era where conspiratorial thinking was not associated with the likes the Trump and his followers, so when I say this, I don't mean it lightly. Look, we all know, if we are watching this documentary, that certain groups of people in this country do not want to see (young) black people, anywhere, buying and owning property. And, when young black entrepreneurs buy and own property, and by virtue of these actions/purchases, inspire those communities to do better, by the communities' own terms, these kinds of things begin to attract a certain kind of negative attention. We have seen it many times before: the attack on Black Wall Street, for example; or, the historical portraits of black municipalities across this country that became subject to racist violence by lynch mob and the likes, as a cover, in actuality, for disenfranchising those communities of socio-political economic resources as well as siphoning from these communities, modes of self-determination (Ida B. wells-Barnett has documented this extensively, wherein she referred to lynching as a color-line murder). We may never know, really, the motivation behind the suspect's actions, but I think maybe someone up high took the suspect's personal beef with Nipsey and, thereby, created an opportunity of killing the proverbial "two birds" with one stone. . . .or a few shots. Thank you, again, bruh for this documentary and for convincing me to check out more of his music and read up on his different entrepreneurial approaches/models.
Very well put together 👏. I never knew how much he actually did for people and I’m so sad he’s gone. The fact that the gang life wasn’t gonna stop nor change him is incredible bc most get stuck in it n forget their dreams. I’m just n awe of this man!!!! R.I.P. Nip
Came across your feed because of the title, I opened it!! THANK YOU FOR DOING SUCH A BRILLIANT JOB!!! I wish you BLESSINGS UPON BLESSINGS 🖤! I'M TRULY PROUD OF YOU..MUCH RESPECT, MUCH LOVE🖤
Lot's of rappers make money and get rich, but then there are ones who do this as well as give back to the communities they grew up in which really speaks volumes about them as people.
Well done king. This was a great video. Looks like me and you got on board at the same exact time. I can tell you are a true nip fan. Thank you for the video 💙 🕊️
Phenomenal work! You chronicled it all so beautifully! Netflix or Amazon needs to pick this up! Salute king for highlighting this Generations great leader taken to soon! Rip NH Nip!
This just Made me cry all over again. Its sooo not fair how his live was snuffed out. To see his children grow up to grow with Lauren that much more. His mindset was beautiful. A friend of mine put me on to his music in 2018. And Im so glad that he did. LLNH.💙💙💙🏁🏁🏁
@@2stroketyson79 First and foremost, Im not your Bro and my name is not "Bro". And Ill write it as much as I wanna write it.Furthermore WTF are you talking about? I only commented once!! Don't like don't read it! GOOD DAY.
I’m here not because I’m a fan of Nipsey the rapper, but here as a person who like the kind of man that Nip was destined to become. Mayne I truly agree with all who say he was taken too soon. I wonder what all he would’ve accomplished had he lived through his tragedy.
The marathon continues and this was a great documentary. Definitely a Nipsey Hussle fan. I first heard him on his song hussle in the house it had the criss cross jump sample on it. First thing I thought was he a lightskin Snoop. The Crip definitely made great music. He also was very intelligent and very articulate with his words. He was self educated too he dropped out of high school yet still was smart. I miss Nipsey alot and may he rest in peace.
The dopest doc I've seen on Nipsey Hussle you put some work into this video brother and it shows keep up the good work I found your channel if you weeks ago and I love it
KB you did a phenomenal job on this bro, I watched all the way through without pausing, best doc on him yet, and this will definitely be hard to top. I'm definitely gonna share and watch it few more times 💯
I came to this channel bc I seen the video you did of Akademiks & decided to watch that, which was done very well & clicked this right after & not even 20 mins in & it’s already so beautiful the way you did Nips video!!! Love this so much!!! 💙
@@joy2theworld488 Pleaseeeee.... LOL! This was a Government operation... There's no doubt about it, as far as I'm concerned... It'll eventually come out, at some point... Hopefully, it'll be sooner rather than later... Furthermore, it's also very encouraging just how many people aren't falling for the B.S., about the reason as to why he was killed. This has COINTEL- PRO written all over it... The Foundational Black American Community is being slowly genocided, and people like Nipsey Hussle are standing in the way of this... You must eventually come to understand, that we're dealing with people who are evil incarnate... But on a lighter note, I also see these evil people being destroyed, in the not too distant future. God will rise...
Shots out to you! You did your thing on this story hands down!!! High tech plus you did your homework!! I was in tune to the end!! Keep up the excellent work 🏆💯💪🏽💙
The words that you used to describe Nipsey were so touching and you couldn't have done a better job. Thanks for the light that you put on his name because Nipsey is not even around but the person that he was sure deserves to shines. He left here with a bang, letting everyone know whatever you want in this world if you apply yourself there is nothing impossible. It take hard work, perseverance, dedication and Nipsey did that and more. Nipsey's light will forever shine in my life!
All I Can say. I Loves and Miss you Nip. A Real king.. My Grandson only 7 Now. He Loves you Nip. And your Musics. He keep on asking me Why we can’t go to a Concert. To see and hear you. He started listening to your music around the Time the World loss you. Only if you were still here. Me and my Grandson would of been at 1 of your Cocert. Long Live Nip… God Beautiful Angel… ❤❤❤… I won’t never Stop. Listening to your Music …. I’m still Heart Broken….
Hands down best documentary I've seen covering Nip life and accomplishments. You watch him grow from a young boy, rapper to entrepreneur and business man along with his brother Black Sam. He was on his way to really being someone especially kids who can learn from what he was doing in the community positive and giving them opportunities to advance themselves in life. .... Again wonderful job on the documentary. Respect and love to Nipsey family and friends. Rest in Heaven brotha.
