Nirmal 'Nims' Purja has climbed all 14 of the world's 8,000-metre-high mountains in a record-breaking 189 days. The Nepalese former British army soldier completed the last of his 14 climbs, to the summit of Shishapangma in China, at 8.58am local time on Tuesday. The previous record was held by Kim Chang-ho, of South Korea, who took seven years, 11 months and 14 days

@John Higgins Yeah but in western documentaries, Nepalese are shadowed. The westerners make movies documentaries and portray themselves like they had done it without the help of Nepalese.

It's a shame his achievements are mostly known within the climbing community only. Oh well, it is what it is. He and his team that summited K2 in fking winter are legends in their own right that have made history and aint nothing gonna change that.

At 0:46 to 0:48 you can see him stepping on climbing ropes with his crampons. That is something a climber tries to avoid and could get the next person to use those ropes killed.
