I miss him so much too. I was born in 1980 and I had the chance to see Nirvana live in Rennes my hometown in 1994. I am marked for life by their music. KC was a genius
i can totally relate, i'm 39, i was 10 when i used to listen nevermind with my big sister on k7 audio. I've become addicted until now and will always be. It's a bond that has keep my sister and i close for years.

Are you going to still be listening to Nirvana when you're in you're 40's? You probably will, loser." She is just an unhappy woman, good riddance. I don't need that in my life.
My grandad raised me. He was a very special person to me. He passed away 16 years ago. I’ve been playing metal/rock/blues/ and solo guitar of all between those styles for 25 years. If I ever get the chance to play a live show for a big crowed. I swear on my grandads life/grave, I will trash the stage like this.

Kurt's tech was used to it by then, Kurt/Krist had a reputation long before Nevermind for trashing their gear(so they wouldn't have to play encores) so i guess you can say it was part of the job :D (sounds like heaven to me, being able to find parts and put a guitar back together "every night") :)
The destruction at Nirvana shows was the most entertaining part about Nirvana. my favorite one is the Ghent, Belgium show where Kurt and Krist fight with their guitars, it's great.
No actually. They purposely bought shitty instruments since they destroyed them onstage, Kurt couldn't find any amazing left-handed guitars, and they actually liked the dirty, crappy sound of cheap guitars.
@@indigotheindieghost7214 ...his guitar tech would even put the cheap ones back together. Usually just some glue and a couple pieces of hardware with new strings. Kurt switched out to a cheap guitar before smash time at the end of their shows. They did it every night. Pretty routine.
@@tylerjackson4168 yeah then think about the drum set, lol...how cheap is the cheapest when it set is on dave hand smashing like lunatic during the show, creating a great sound...or the amps they destroyed...for guitar or bass I can get it, use the cheapest one, but the drum or amplifier, crazy to think how good those gears are to be murdered at the end of the show...

The amount of times Kurt almost died during that UK tour in 91 - there's a reason he never went back to England after Reading, it's because of those assholes always trying to beat him up or steal a chunk of his hair!

I have the same outfit as curt cobain when he was at the paramount theater with the dark green long sleeve and light blue jeens the outfit was identical I got many coments at school about it
all the equipment that was destroyed... People probably trashed it, scrapped it. I know guitars were usually scavenged and saved.. They had no idea they could sell it for 200k 30 years later for a busted up broken amp :P
