Heh, just subbed a few days ago, and right away a new video. What I really appreciate is that the kit setup isn't a giant monstrosity, but he has it mic'd to hell, with several camera angles. And of course excellent performances. Great for people who want to appreciate the performance of these drum tracks. Also, if you wanna do some Primus songs, I would not mind that a bit. ;)

Not only is Colm's performance awesome, but hearing the drums up loud makes me appreciate the drummer (usually Grohl!), and the song anew! Thanks! Oh and Foo's "Wind Up" would be gorgeous given this treatment...

I actually don't have a strict practice schedule man. I just jam along to songs I have fun playing and then record them when I fell I know them enough.

Colm I’m currently trying to learn bet you look good on the dancefloor by arctic monkeys and was wondering if you had any tips on how to be able to keep your bass drum and hi-hat rhythms different without your right foot just playing your right hand rhythm in the groove

Lots of practice, you can also do some hand and feet independence excercises. Just practice and have fun, it takes time if you want to be good👍 Keep it up!

Yeah some great advice below joe. Just try and slow the groove down to a speed your accurately playing it and then the speed will come eventually.
