Kurt stops sexual assault and confronts the male fan in the crowd who was allegedly groping a female in the front row. New Year's Eve 12/31-93 Oakland, CA.
The heavy ass SLAM of the guitar and the literal bolt towards them was fucking legendary. The fact that he literally just threw HIS GUITAR that was so valuable it was later auctioned for 5 million dollars on the ground like it was a textbook for a subject he hated because it was in his way when he saw someone who needed help, Kurt was one of the most human people out there. He saw someone in distress and he acted, it's not often you'll see someone throw everything in their way to the side just so they can help someone faster. We were honoured to have you in this world Kurt, we need more people as compassionate as you.
Notice after he didn't pick up the guitar, Because he didn't want to be distracted AND send a message that he's watching.. Huge respect to Kurt Cobain on behalf of all women. We appreciate you, We love and Miss you :)
pat sucks, I only like kurt, Krist and David (I don’t hate pat as a person but he’s the only one who doesn’t match the nirvana look and he isn’t needed, the only exception was mtv
@@phoenixtventertainment1155at was needed, especially according to kurt who always intended for nirvana to be a four piece. his playing added a whole new dimension to the live performances and also helped kurt ease up the pressure while playing. this was very helpful towards their later performances as kurt was not in good health. also, nothing about pat doesn’t match the nirvana look aside from not being white. he dresses fairly normally and looks like a pretty regular guy all around.
It was unfortunately common for women to be groped at shows back then when they were just there to enjoy themselves by drunk and high idiots in the crowd. Kurt was very protective of the rights of his female fans to have a good time without having to deal with that shit. Flea called the crowd out at Woodstock 99 during the Chili Peppers' set for the same thing.
