one thing in the pre chorus i noticed and thought was cool in the original, he makes the kick go quiet and then pretty loud. don't often hear dynamics applied to the kick drum
I never thought it was played like this! Oh your covers are the best way to see clearly how each Nirvana drummer was so distinctive with his style, its truly beautiful! Dale knows how to make the drums blend in perfectly with the vibe of the song. You cover each note so accurately! I hope your plans are on their way to cover every Nirvana song out there xD keep these coming man! Cheers!
Thanks! Yeah, I'm trying to play exactly how all Nirvana drummers used to play. And it's not a bad idea to cover every Nirvana song. ;-D Maybe you have some suggestions of their other songs I can cover?
McSeem Vokinlem You’re doing a great job so far! Oh how about you try covering Gallons of rubbing alcohol flow through h the the strip? I know it was just a jam but i find it really interesting how creative and spontaneous its played! Let me know what you think :D
Hm, interesting choice. Definitely, need to listen to this song for a bit, but it's doable. I also got plans for Endless Nameless, but second part of the song is just a mess, and Dave's ending on the drums is quite difficult, if I want to play exactly how he does it :0) need some time for that, that's for sure... 🙃
McSeem Vokinlem Totally agreed! Two very tricky songs, the entire trio just went completely out with their creativity! Its really interesting to hear and even better to play it! Oh how about Territorial Pissings? I dont think you covered it have you?
Great cover dude! I've been trying to figure out how to play this but theres literally no info out there and this is the only drum cover I've found. Quick question though, during the verses r u flamming on the floor Tom's or is it just flam on the snare? I cant figure that part out and it seems to sound alright both ways, I just cant figure out which is the right way
Thanks for the comment, mate! You can play it in any way you like, if you enjoy it! I think I played this drum part exactly as it is, I didn't add anything from myself. :0)
