During the recordings, Kurt would fidget and want things to do with his hands Steve albini said in an interview, Kurt had this old Broken acoustic and would play it while doing the voice recording, that’s why it’s audible during certain songs in the beginning

@@NirvanaGuitars Yes they are pretty good studio wise. But for me the definitive version of pennyroyal tea was the unplugged version. I love that it was Kurt and Pat. And as for rfus, it’s between great western or live and loud.

How do you go about gain staging your clean parts and distorted parts? If I used the same amp volume, EQ and presence for both clean and distorted, the DS-2 makes it so loud. It’s pretty loud at 2 o’clock as opposed to 5:30.
