Its a weird song the bass always plays higher except when the guitar is playing the main riff pretty much guaranteed to mess up unless its practiced in advance
I know and I discovered recently that bleach is my favourite album (in and out of nirvana’s music) and i learned to play about a girl on guitar but i don’t understand the lyrics ’cause i’m french😂😅(i just understand "about a girl")
Hearing this song for the first time on CD when it came out was a mesmerizing moment for me. It's one of the loudest and hardest hitting songs that made me say 'Holy $hit' when I heard it. The other moment I've like that were first hearing Hendrix's Voodoo Child (Slight Return) and Van Halen's Eruption.
Someone said on another Nirvana video I seen some months back "Jesus it's like Krist holds the bass guitar like 6 feet from his head" or something like that and I DIED. Prolly the funniest comment about Nirvana I ever heard. I keep thinking about it. Look at where that dude's guitar is ! X'D
which was great because this album the band was starting to evolve into something really amazing, then Kurt perished. Kurt said he was running out of ideas, imagine if kurt was still there and said hey dave, lets pull out the mountains of music you have written and collab. it would have been a lot of good songs like this.
was that last high pitched little screech pat or kurt? i always thought it was pat bc of how muffled it sounded compare to the other screeches, but it looked pretty synced up to kurt
Is it just me but whenever they play the main riff in this version something seems way out of tune, sounds like the bass. Don’t think Krist’s low string is quite in tune!
nirvana is always a bit out of tune. so u better tune up and get it anyway. that's the beauty of it😂 dropped d on that song so no time for the bass player to get it right
Then you have misunderstood what grunge is. The whole point of grunge is that it's not meant to be pretty or technical, it's meant to be rough and real.
this is such an awesome song, even live it sounds like it had little production to "clean it up" when i bought nevermind, then in utero cd's back in the day never did i think i was buying legendary cds. now i just stare at them and think what could have been.
