I discovered Nirvana earlier this year. I'm 27 this year and Kurt was already far away when I was born. It's such a shame that we won't be able to hear Nirvana live, but their singing voices have remained on RU-vid and are still reaching many people around the world.

Ever since Kurt said he didn't like Smells Like Teen Spirit, every Nirvana fan feels the need to agree with him and say it sucks because they have taken idol worship beyond the point where they can have their own opinions. Stop telling people that they're not a true fan if this is their favorite, music taste is subjective. It's not my favorite Nirvana song, but I'd put it as one of their best. A proper anthem that everyone should stop putting so much pressure on themselves to not like. End of.

I first heard them on 120minutes when I was a metal head and was immediately in awe of their ferocious sound. 3 normal looking schmos crushing the sound waves.
