This beautiful woman has recorded many American Standards with perfection. She is from Japan, but lived in California for some time, learning the English language, and might I add quite well. She recorded the Connie Francis hit of Where The Boys Are with perfection. I love to hear her sing, and of course she is a very beautiful woman!
She came to the United States, and attended the Claiborne school, in LA. She mastered the English which is hard for Japanese to master. Her husband owns a corporation. But still Nishida is a pleasure to listen to!! Greg, Phx.
Wow her consistent timbre over whole range and the smile the style all remind me of Teresa Teng. And just like Miss Teng, she is a gorgeous and wonderful singer.. wooow.
How the heck is she not a household name in America she's fantastic?! If she did an album of standards she could easily outsell the ones put out by Rod Stewart or Lady GaaGaa.
I wondered if she understood the reference to "my huckleberry friend", and if many Asian fans did, but after reading some of the comments below, I'm sure she did. Wonderful fused cultures performance here. Just lovely!

you've got your movies mixed up - marni sang most of hepburns parts in MY FAIR LADY - audrey sang for herself in BREAKFAST - check out the DVD with the behind the scenes features - also - just listen to the song in the movie - that isn't a real singer's voice - it was audrey herself
Audry Hepburn doesn't sing. It was dubbed by the same woman that dubbed for Natalie Wood in West side story, and again Audry Hepburn in My Fair Lady as well. Forget the Lady's name.
