Vivaldi was a forgotten musician from his death to the fist half of 1900. Now, imagine going through a pile of old documents in the attic of an old palace in Venice, finding a music sheet, giving it to a singer and hear THIS for the first time in over 200 years. It would feel like you have discovered God.
@@dominic6055 Actually there are parts of this piece, especially in the Intro, that kind of reminds me of Stravinsky . So modern and ahead of his time.
Yes! Great music, especially Vivaldi's, is the voice of God. He was a saint, a martyr who died broke and friendless, even though he trained and taught many students, usually the orphans of the Ospidale de Pieta. 😬 ✝️
