Wish the aftermarket for the QX80s and Armadas in the states was as big as it is down there. Widely slept on suv here. Its all about the jeeps and 4runners here
You don't see many because it's an insult to the patrol name, if people want something fast and loud there a plenty of other vehicles out there for half the price and takes less money to get to 410.4 HP really don't see the reason behind trying to turn are 4WD into are sports car just get are sports car if that's what tickles you fancy.
@@Warhorse469 not really people don't usually get 4wds to make horsepower,a lot of patrols are slow AF,they are cooler than your average patrol for a family car and have better interiors and features, just wondering why they are so rare in australia for example but some countries have shit loads
Nissan has never offered a Nismo variant here in Australia from the factory, they only way to get one is to build it up like this one by importing the parts.
We put in a supercharger harrop 2.3 liter. We want to get more power, what else can we buy to do that? Maybe the fuel system or pulleys? Where can I write to you for a consultation?
where can you get the full digital dash for the qx80/armada/patrol!??? anybody have the oem part number or is it aftermarket? and where did those rear lights come from they are OEM for the nismo patrol!??
Just to add since a lot of people say it isn’t much power a VK56 out performs most other v8s due to its flat torque and power curve. Sure another motor might make a bit more peak horsepower but is it actually usable? VK56VD makes 400 Ft-lbs of torque at 2000 rpm
100hp more on a standard supercharger application but with our fuel pump you'll see 120hp.. so all the setups just need more fuel is that it? So why not add a triple hanger in there and make an additional 500hp.? Lol you make it sound you"re pump is magic. It's just bigger than stock. Throw in twin walbro 450s instead.
In-tank low pressure pump upgrades won't address the limitations of the standard high pressure DI pump, which is the first fueling restriction. We also have port injector plates for the VK56-DE engine for those that want to run port and direct injection.
what type of a stroker does this to a Nissan Patrol ,customer wanted it low and loud ,must be way out there on the spectrum, the numberplate is a dead give away ,tippin its some knuckledragger with far too much money from Narre Warren
It base lined at 286hp on that particular roller dyno, picked up over 40% with the supercharger, it's the comparative performance that is relevant with any upgrades when looking at dyno numbers.
I think the power number is pretty lame actually? This is a petrol V8.....the fact that it's in a big 4WD should have no determination on horsepower output; but in saying that because it IS a big heavy 4WD then you're gonna want a hell of a lot more poke that that? For the power output and the cost of upgrade......be cheaper and probably more powerful to drop an LS in it? 400hp out of a Nissan VK56 is lame
@@Jay-bo7bo You have no idea what you are talking about. The 300kw or whatever from factory are at the crank. They're measuring at the wheels, huge difference. Plus every dyno is slightly different. Another factor is ambient temperature, what are they measuring against? Din? Or something else? If you measure a car on a dyno all that matters is the before and after.
Nissans we get in the USA after about 2000 have just been absolute fucking garbage vehicles. We don’t get the patrol… I’m curious how well they are built etc.
