350z See it on a Cold start Check oil and for metal spec’s last time they got a oil change = 145$ in cost and labor Look at coolant when cold Check if hoses are dried out Check cooling system = 60$ in cost and labor Check spark plugs = 300$ in cost and labor Check undercarriage Check exhaust smoke Check windshield = 315$ in cost and labor Rev car to check for smoke Check for calipers = 866$ in cost and labor Idle should be at 800 when warm Check how many owners Check alignment Check tire tread 800 = in cost and labor Check vin for title Check body panel alignment I think I got a lot of stuff to check if you have more add it in the comments and btw not all of the pricing is exactly right but pretty damn close

Great video bro got mine from dealership they had changed oil and everything for me before they delivered the car to. Me didn’t buy the 350 bought a 370z roadster with less 80,000 miles on it .

be careful, they don't have traction control so they're one of the most dangerous cars for teens. Ie they hydro into curbs, alot...

Hi I’m 17 and really want a 05 350z I’m just concerned about the price of the insurance on it since it is a 2 door sports car is the insurance higher than normal for this kind of car? Also love the red on the car it’s my favorite color!!

Bill here from Montreal, thinking of purchasing my first 350z I was wondering which one you recommend, I have found a very good-conditioned 350z DE and a 350z DE rev up would that be considered the Roadster? anyhow, besides horsepower any other difference between these 2 cars? and if I decide to go for the 2007 model do they have fewer issues than the 2006?. thanks, Bill

I'm missing the rev :'c also: I am looking at a Z33 - 350z (ER) from 2004, 154.000km or miles (I'm not really sure), it does look good from outside but the front lip is cracked. There are no mailfunctions / bad things noted in the article so... ya. Do you have some tipps?

The year is 2022 n I'm seeing one 03 with 88 miles for $7k. You forgot to mention the door handle n the power windows. They are known to be duds in them 350.

Hey! The 350z is a great platform to start with! I'm not sure where you're located, but I always find pretty good deals on OfferUp! @Jay2x is right though, the inflation right now on used cars is pretty high. I think it will go down within the next year or so, but not by much. I'd say a good condition 350z with continue to rise in value as they just get harder to find! Could be worth 15k+ in the future! I'd say right now, anything under 150k miles for around $6,500-$8,500 is a good deal! Clean title preferably, but that also gets harder and harder to find every day lol The 07 and 08 model years will rise in value the fastest as they're the most refined version of the car with the VQ35HR!

I'm 18 and I was quoted for 133$ under my parents and I work part time, I could afford that but it'd consider more of parts and maintenance especially for older z's to cost more, getting insurance for a z right now by yourself would be killer but once you are 18 it would probably be 200-350$ a month depending on where you live

While under your parents policy it will raise their premium. Eventually you will have to you get your own insurance which will kick your @$$.. until you hit 25 or get married.

Hey! It really depends I think. When I got my own policy, I actually ended up paying less each month. I just turned 24 and have two speeding tickets on my record I'm waiting to fall off lol Personally, I thought It was going to be a bit more, but I pay $133/month in Insurance for both cars, which is a steal I think! Also, I think owning the Miata helps because its listed as my main vehicle, not the Z. I think it would be a lot more if I had the Z as my primary vehicle. Either way, you could always call the insurance people before you get the car, and get an estimate :) Thanks for commenting!!

Hey! A battery and alternator isn’t too bad if you’re getting a pretty good deal! Hard to know if there’s anything else that needs work though! If you go to check it out, make sure it’s cold and have him jump it with you there. Check the oil before he starts the car! A lot of people will jump the car and get it running before you get there to inspect. Hope it helps! Keep me posted🙏🏼🙌

it only does about 19-25 mpg depending what year you buy , it’s not great for everyday use as you will be splashing out your cash on fuel. :)

It's how you drive gentle on gas pedal no hard take offs it good on gas for me and get some Lucas fuel cleaner I love mine 2007 better engines best they made better on gas and oil and a 2008

The 05 and 06 have 300hp vs. the 03 and 04 models that have 287hp! The torque is the same in both cars at 274 lb ft!

Personally, any year 350z is going to be great, but if you're looking to burn the least amount of oil, I'd go for an 03-04! You could go 07-08, but they're getting quite expensive, so act quick! :D Thanks for commenting!

@@psychedeliceuphoria in my opinion buying an already tuned car isn’t a good idea, most likely the previous owner was trashing the hell out of it. You’ll probably have to spend a lot of money on repairs/maintenance plus you don’t know if the person did a good job modifying the car. Try to look for something completely stock and then tune it yourself, especially with a 335i tuning is super easy. You can go from 300 to 400 hp with a charge pipe intake and MHD tune which you can download on your phone. Overall tho what’s your main goal with the car? Just outright power? If so I’d probably go with the stock 335i and tune it, if you’re up for that. If you’re tryna slide n stuff I’d go with a 350z.

NFS Underground 2 It comes with amazing exhaust sound from the factory (this one has prolly a different exhaust so better noise) HENCE I want to be NOTICED when I drive around... and people will notice 😅 It is a jdm car... I consider it to be amongst the most legendary cars known in jdm... rx7, r34 etc And it isn't being produced anymore so I'm one of the "few" owning one... and it might rise in value over the years despite mileage etc. Overall THIS car has exterior tuning already done, front splitter, side skirts, spoiler... everything, sport seats...

Hey! I actually found mine on craigslist, but I see plenty of 350z's on OfferUp for a pretty reasonable price! Also, check Facebook Marketplace, sometimes good deals on there too! Another tip would be to check everyday, in the morning between 8:00am and 12:00pm, a lot of people wake up and decide they want to sell a car and you've got to be there to take it off their hands haha! I bought my Black 04 350 Touring on facebook marketplace with 52,000 miles for only $6,500, 3 years ago, it was in excellent condition, now 3 years later i have 56,000 miles on it and i can probably sell it for close to twice what i paid, but i love it so much the only way I'd sell it is if i upgrade to a 370 Z, or just keep saving for the new 2023 Z when it comes out.

Not necessarily a red flag, it could have just been that the previous owner didn't know the car burned oil and ever added any... Only red flag for me would be if they got the engine swapped and there is NO receipts/proof of it happening. I'd only go for it, if there was proof a reputable shop did the swap, the proper miles on the new engine were recorded/verified and wherever they got the new engine is reputable as well. People on craigslist will say anything to get the sale sometimes, so just be cautious and always look for proof! Great question, I appreciate you tuning in!!
