This is like the 5th time seeing this, that metal line to the tank is your tank vent meant to go to your cannister filter. Do not plug it, cut it back away from the cab or leave it be.
great video keep up the nice work is true about what you said about not being a lot of videos on these trucks I got one and I'm starting to do things to it
at about the 6 min mark, you mentioned one vac line that you WILL need, I believe it is the vacuum advance for the distributor. can that pull vacuum from any source or does it have a specific spot it goes. I am currently working on the exact same build and cannot remember where that one goes.
You need just to motor swap it put a Chevy 350 with a Chevy 350 transmission you will have to make a custom driveshaft change motor mounts change transmission mounts and crossmember stop rear end will be okay just don't put a lot of power in motor
I did the block off and it was working good took it for a drive then outta no where it kicked up in rpms and now starts and stays at high rpms what do I do
I have an 89 z24i in middle of timing chain replace looking forward to more your vids thinking about going ahead and doing the delete...my distributor doeant have one i forget what they call it but either way good viseo !
Thanks for the video. I might be getting a 84 soon and I'm really looking into an egr/emissions delete and 5 lug conversion. Looking forward to any updates on your truck.
Damn I was looking for a diagram on how to put them back where they go I didn't know I could delete them so just take them all out and kept everything off correct
