Am a mechanic from Nigeria, one of my customers with Almera 2012 I think, just have same issue with his air condition not cooling well at noon, but cools alittle bit morning and night, he has refilled the gas couple of time still same issue, now am called to come check his car, just finished watching your video now, am so excited and I hope if I bypass the heater hose the issue will resolved, am mostly glad for this video, bcos it has given me a guide line along the line. Javi, really appreciate you posting this video. I'm driving an Almera 2012 (1.2cc in Thailand) make and recently changed the entire AC system (compressor, flushing, etc) thinking that perhaps that would solve the issue. Boy, was i wrong! After spending THB28k+ , the 'cold' air lasted only about 3 weeks and then it started to blow out 'weakened cold' air until today. I visited several other mechanics , did some test and all told me it's working perfectly fine and was probably due to the hot weather. I tried one of the methods in your comment of switching to 32c first then gradually decrease the temp , it really worked! I might try engaging a mechanic again using your solution in this video but will probably do it after Covid subsides. Your mechanic is truly a life saver and he sounds very humble too! Grateful to hear that in my humble way of sharing my experience helps others too. Honestly, since my friendly mechanic done the modification I never experienced any AC trouble again. He’s a life saver indeed. Unfortunately his shop has been closed for a while now because of the virus surge here in KL - in fact our fellow Almera-nian are waiting for him to reopen. @@benjaminsibat7500 hey bro, the 32c method will stay cold until you switch off your engine. Sometimes when i go out and switched off the engine and return to my car to start it, i noticed I don't need to do 32c too. But to play it safe, every time you start engine, just do this one time, it will last long time.

I had this problem for years and my mechanic not helping...I got my Almera first released on 2012...Worst..lots of issue after 2nd year...I can't even count how many time i changed my bearings...my last was all 4 bearings broken.. ridiculous..But still love driving it,the performance was great and suits as City Car

And if the aircon stopped due due to compressor not engaging? Checked fuses, all good? Relay maybe ? Where is it located and which one is the air con relay?
I had the same issue once, send the car to nissan service center and they say need to replace the climate control system. Replace it and works fine until I hit another 50k mileage, the same issue happens again. Sucks because it ain't cheap, three figure repair cost man. Now, the only way for me to get cold air flow now is to set the highest AC temperature (which is 32 celsius ) everytime I start the car for a few second and gradually set it to the lower celcius. It's troublesome. How is your car after this uncle's work ? AC all okay ?

Naim , your advice of setting to the highest temp (32c) then gradually decrease it really WORKS!! Me too had sent my 2012 Almera for replacing the entire system (THB28k+) and just a matter of weeks this problem happened until i tried your method. Thank you so much! By the way, do you have to do this every time you start the engine or just occasionally?
@@BroughboyHero69 Had to do the same process everytime u want to use the AC man. If its during the cold night or rainy days the AC works fairly fine. After a few Google search, I suspected this issue is commonly related to gas leaking located to something called climate control. Hi , is this specialist expert in fixing air-con ? As my Almera input gas few times and some workshop told me probably is gas leaking , looking for good workshop to fix it......

My dad's car worse. The heater core was leaking, all the water from the radiator sips and got the engine overheated. So shocked to know that many foremen and even their nissan sc didn't know this. I suggested them to bypass after watching scotty kilmer video and found the carpet at front passenger wet.
Good day sir...I have my nissan almera 2014 here in thailand but im a filipino, sir my question after disconnecting the heater hose? the bypass hose where is it going? and now after 2months up refilling freon for the first time this year august 2021 from the shop its hot again., i've got this car last year. The mechanic said need to replace evaporator is it possible? or just cleaning.
Hello kabayan! Salamat sa pagbisita sa channel ko. The bypass hose is actually left inside and it was not connected anywhere. Since your car been about 7years I also suggest to replace the evaporator because cleaning alone won’t last long and the problem will come back again. 🙏

bro i got te same pproblem i guess cause during the first lockdwn my aircond suddenly not cold anymore then i went to refill the gas but only lasted for 1 day hahaha so i went to mechanic they said maybe the pump bocor but i dont repair it yet cause it is a bit costly. maybe i should try this method

Can I get the mechanic’s phone number? My Almera , especially the air cond part, if i put my car in the gear mood, N, or the car just static on the road, the air cond do not function very well. And it do not feels so cold as used to be before this. I had changed the cooling coil last 6 months, but still the same problem happend. What do you think bro?
