This is often an issue with LEDs, as there is constantly power running through them. Did you purchase with PrecisionLED? We only sell high quality Canbus LEDs to ensure you do not experience issues like this.

The halogen bulbs are very easy to access with our trim took kit, which comes complimentary with all of our interior LED packages. I would recommend having a watch on some of our other DIY videos, and you will gain a general knowledge of how LEDs are installed

no they cannot be replaced that easily. I am currently looking into how to do it. I found an article that shows photos and steps but it wasnt clear enough so i am not willing to mess with it yet. I did manage to change all of my other lights though.

I do believe the domes light you are referring to would be stock LED, which you cannot easily replace as they are soldered to a chip and board.

I figured it out myself. If you do the same thing I did, check the fuse panel under the steering wheel. The top far left fuse is the culprit. Replace this 10a fuse with 10a fuse in spot 5, which is there as a spare. Hope I saved somebody some time.

The Nissan Altima Premium LED Interior Package (2013-Present) comes with 2 dome, 2 footwell, and 2 door LEDs. You also have the option to add 2 license plate, 2 vanity mirror, 2 reverse, and 1 trunk at an additional cost.

Nah they don't come out but I did end up replacing them. The link at the bottom of this comment had a good instruction set on how to do it. I didn't do it exactly as was written as I don't have a glue gun but the fit of the new LED bulb was tight enough and the wires short and solid (from soldering) enough that there was no movement in them. You can't even tell they were replaced in the end, they look like they were there from production. I was nervous about doing the install but figured I could just replace the entire console from a wreckers if I snap or break something (probably at quite a cost). Basically I soldered the connectors/wires on an OSRAM LED to the red and black wires in the console. One tip from the instructions is when removing the console, pull from the windshield side edge directly downwards with 2 hands. It was a nerve racking moment but as is stated in the forum post, a solid, quick pull is better than slowly wedging it out. Cutting the wires to the factory LED's was the "here we go" moment but the result was pretty good in the end and the light is nice and white - matching the rest of the LED's. One thing I'm struggling a bit with at the moment is the footwell lights AND the light above the fold up panel near the cup holders. I found some mini wedge T5 LED's but they are a bit longer than the factory bulbs so the light is mainly being projected into the side of the housings, as opposed to downwards towards the floor. Do you have anything you could share on this or a product you recommend that's a good fit? It's the last bit in changing it all to a nice white. Cheers!
