The CVT has been well tuned for this engine. If you refer to the Drag Race between this and Skoda Kushaq posted by Autocar India few months back, this one easily beats the 1.5 L DSG of Skoda Kushaq. Modern Day CVTs are quite perfomance oriented.

He is saying dct are better. Ask him to drive seltos dct. Its even slower than a sloth. Dont know why any tim dick abd harry turns up as an auto reviewer

@@Autocrew05 i dont need to becuase i already own one and habr deiven both the cars extensively. This cvt is not at all bad and far better than dct and cvt which comes with honda

No updates on duster yet Fun to drive isn't comparable as one is turbo petrol and one is turbo diesel one is small one is big Would still say pick xuv

@@Autocrew05 Sir I am planning to buy an SUV ,my requirements are 1)Performance /fun to drive 2)Engine Reliability 3)Rear Seat Space and Comfort (3 people can easily be sit on rear seat) I had initially choosen XUV 300 and compared it with its Rivals but now I can strech my budget for XUV 700 diesel AX5 Variant with Panasonic Sunroof as well .Can you confirm if it will be a good decision or not ??

Nissan aur Renault ki sabse badi problem hai ki woh koi bhi model 5-6saal baad discontinued kar dete hai , and due to their this act customers feel cheated that's why minimum Indian customer go for Nissan and Renault.

1.5 has good low end , mid eange is okayish and is mostly tuned to aedste driving. 1.3 is an absolute beast but cvt does not do complete justice to it. Rhere is a way to drive cvts but this cvt is far better tuned than the one found in honda vehicle

This nissan kicks beast beats skoda kushaq 1.5 L petrol turbo giant engine and you feel it less enthusiastic. ....lol....😄 First drive it properly on highway then give review.
