I’m a first time car buyer with a small family in Bangalore on a budget and this car seems like it’s all I need. Amt for the traffic, budget friendly, big(er) car, creature comforts
Whats surprising is that Nissan is still in the market with only 1 car, and yet has not given up, if only these American giants could learn something from them
Car enthusiasts want brands like Nissan to do well. Unfortunately management of these companies doesn't work for consumers they only do the minimum required work for salary. We would like to see the Z in India and a sedan which competes with the City-Verna-Slavia/Virtus. A hot-hatch to compete with the i20N line. And competitor for the Isuzu pickups and the Fortuner. The car market is not that tough to understand in our country if you're an enthusiast. The problem is, most of the management of these companies rides in a chauffeur driven German rather than their own brand.
Seriously an underrated car, but mileage was pretty bad for me (considering those old tin cans from maruti) in manual😢 only around 8.5 to 9 kmpl in combined usage of city and highway.
How is the shifting? I recently bought a nissan versa sv trim in canada which has the same problematic cvt from jatco. But the featured and price attaracted me
First impression is always the best impression is quiet evident in magnite. As the buyers are really convinced on the stylish look, spacious cabin with enhanced safety features above all at a very competitive price... they are least worried about the lag in engine/gearbox...ofcourse family members not worried abiut the performance but more concerned about space inside the cabin. Overall it is a descent sub vompact Suv car for this price😊🎉
I test drove this yeaterday gear shift lag is quite evident even at a sharp turn car almost stopped for a sec before picks next gear. Pick up acceleration is quite slow, interior material does look cheap. I was slightly disappointed after test drove as per hyped it was but again its quite cheap so cant say much on the other hand Suzuki Fronx was surprisingly good with outside/inside layout design, material at 10 Lac price
Nissan got some great products in US market , Sentra and Versa ( these can be launched in India ) Altima , Maxima ( all mid size sedans ) , Rogue ( x-trail in Asian market ) , Murano and last but not the least the beast Armada . The Sentra has a potential in Indian market if priced properly . Rest all are hit or miss ( coz of cost )
Renault and nissan need to improve their portfolio. The can bring their products from other countries and cut costs accordingly or add features. Atleast then indians will feel its premium than the competition
How Nisaan Team can be so dumb ? they are not innovative or launch face-lift even after many years like Hyundai who are smart and know the Indian market. Big no for Nisaan and Renault
"Nissan = Legendary" for the world. "Nissan = Foolishness" for India. Such a sad state of affairs! Nissan did have great models like the X-Trail and Teana when they launched, Sunny and Terrano some years back, but then they just lost it. Don't know what happened. Now, it's hard to convince anyone here in India of how good Nissan can be. For most, it's a bad choice.
