very good video thank you very much Gary. a friend's np200 had the same issue just now. ball joint popped out and pulled the inner cv out ripping the boot off. I left the shaft out as the inner cv springs were dropped out. Then jacked the car up. took the wheel off, stepped on the control arm to pop the ball back in the control arm cup and then used wire to wrap around the bottom of the control arm and over and around the strutt bolt. of course the wire going round the bottom of the control arm would just jump off the outer edge of the control arm so to keep it in place I tied in with another piece of wire on the bottom end of the wire and hooked it around the wishbone opening of the control arm, securing it onto the protruding round knob on the top side of the control arm. This kept the ball joint in place sufficiently to roll the car out of the roadway and onto the sidewalk area. It was a pretty quick operation and it saved having to use a trolley jack which would be buggered up by that kind of weight on its little wheel bearings. I didnt even use very thick wire... it was like 2mm bloudraad. worked well enough and if I help him with replacing the control arm I will see if I can get some photos for you. Thank you for your great video, it will be our reference for doing the repair. regards, George, Simonstown
Good afternoon, hope you are well? I'm struggling to locate why my Nissan Np200 16L 8V is shuttering sometimes after I stop and then accelerate forward or backward. Can you please assist me to find the shuttering asap. kind regards.
Nissan and Renault partnership. The quality of Nissan is gone right down. The French don't know how to build cars. Wonder how long this marriage will last.
