I just bought a Pulsar (2017 DIG-T 1.2 Tekna) and I have to say this review is the most thorough and honest I've seen online. Nailed it perfectly. I particular like the bit about the "motoring scribes" poo-pooing the Pulsar. I ignore those idiots; they all think they are Jeremy Clarkson and they all think we are Jeremy Clarkson. They write for him and them, not for us. I actually think the car looks extremely stylish (those side mouldings remind me of Italian styling) and very similar to the Qashqai; in fact, a friend who saw it today said" "You bought a Qashqai!" No, I bought a Pulsar, and what a good buy its looks like being (fingers crossed).
I just bought a 1.6 Tekna with 36000 on the clock. I like how it looks, the space inside, and it's quick when I want it to be. Only time will tell with regards to reliability. Other plus points are the leather heated seats and the technology. It's eight years old, but the amount of technology is still pretty good.
I've just bought a low mileage 1.2 Tekna (and I mean low 67 plate on 23k miles) and it's a great little motor. I am a petrol head, but I've to buy with my brain rather than heart and can still make respectable progress in this quite surprising little (big inside) car.
