If you attempt to replace the clock spring yourself this video may save you. You may need to replace the clock spring for an airbag light, hooter not working, steering wheel buttons not working and problems with cruise control.
I have made the mistake of taking the plastic part off first, is there a way of ''recalibrating'' it if i took it back out. I now have nothing working on the steering wheel.
thanks for taking time to put this up i watched other video and didnt take your steps now i have issue with brakes activating by themselves when driving.
You are welcome, now you need access to a scanner to setup the steering wheel angle sensor, that is messing with your ABS and stability control. Good Luck. Please update so others will know what to do. Thanks.
@@Aaron.Welshee That is why I made the video, I saw so many ways for this repair to go wrong. Seems just a simple swop out of a faulty part, but at least 3 traps waiting for the DIYer. Congrats on your fix.
