I've owned 2 Kia Pro Ceed's. I had the first one 5 years, and the 2nd one almost 3 years now. I drive around 25k miles a year, and have never had a major fault with either car, and no minor faults to speak of either. They just keep on running. I've been really impressed with the specs, value and reliability of both cars. Life circumstances are pushing me towards an SUV now, and I'm liking the Sportage.
The qashqai is still a good looking car on the outside but the interior shows it is on age. The Kia's interior is my favorite and I applaud the daring design on the outside as well.
Not sure why people dislike I'm personally will go for the qashai blindfolded because I'm after quality and mechanics more than practicality, but it fact Korean cars was and still the best value for money in many ways and the do have fair quality and ride. But ofcourse you will find the different after the long run (which non reach actually we usually sell cars after 100k unless its something precious)
It’s 10 years powertrain and 12 month bumper to bumper and if you buy even a certified pre owned they will revamp (start over) factory warranty. Which is what I did. Love it
You're missing Kadjar in this comparison. It would be appropriate as Sportage and Tuscon are sister cars, as are Quashqai and Kadjar... and many of the cons of the Qashqai (smaller boot, slow infotaiment, dull interior) are solved with Kadjar. Great review, neverheless
Classic Mat. Loved the review! The pun of the Qashqai as Nissan's Cash Cow is brilliant. Keep em coming. I've come to realise how Carbuyer really stood out due to Matt and Rebecca. Now that both have gone different ways, Carbuyer has really lost its Charm. But well, two different channels with two brilliant reviewers, what else could you ask for? Carwow seems more imaginative and it seems like Matt has more control here. Cheers!
+Prakhar Agarwal Car workers at the Sunderland factory came up with the cash cow pun, because of the large amount of overtime they were getting for making them.
So glad to find this video, am in the market for a new car and these 3 are my top choices... the Kia is the one I keep coming back to and watching this you have helped make my decision a lot easier indeed.. keep up the good work!!!
Cathryn Bennett Don't go to the Nissan, had an Xtrail for 12 months, got rid of it, was a heap of garbage. Got a Sportage 2 litre turbo diesel. Great car, love it as much as I hated the Nissan

I've had this Kia Sportage 2019 for two years now and I'd say it's been really fantastic. The interior and exterior are definitely worth the price and the engine is really responsive. The ride could be more smooth, though! I wish they could make the steering a bit more smooth, as well; Sometimes It feels a bit too firm. In terms of petrol, it usually stands at 9 lit per 100 km, which is not bad for a mid-size SUV. The Kia designers have been more courageous in upgrading the front. However, the back (ass) is still as plain as an egg! Overall, I really enjoy driving this Kia Sportage. Thanks for the great and informative video
Yes:) I own the new KIA, and I love it. The other two cars are also nice. Tuscon looks very good, although I haven't driven it, so I can't be a judge in other matters beside the looks here.
I hated the new Sportage ever since I saw it, but it's starting to grow on me... However, it is not gorgeous and instantly likable to everyone like the previous was.
With me it was an affection at first sight. But you can't drive the looks alone, so I wanted to drive it first before I could decide whether or not to try other cars. After my test drive with the Sportage I never went to see any other car. You definately won't find a better car in this price bracket, hands down.
I have that KIA same color too lol it's not going to win any awards. Probably wont impress you on first drive but after a week you can see the value factor backed with 7 year unlimited warranty and so it makes sense.
Got the Tucson as i preferred the design and styling of both the interior and exterior over the Kia. Same mechanical cars but it comes down to personal preference, that's all. All around the Tucson is the winner between the two as it's built more on comfort as these crossovers weren't designed to burn rubber around a track and boasts a more aggressive, "futuristic" look. I prefer sharper edges over round looks as that to me seems dated.
Is it possible to write a few words after 3 years of owning one? I am thinking of getting redesigned Tucson 1.6 T-GDI in premium trim + panoramic roof. Your opinion would be a great help, so please can you can spare a minute or two for your comment..
Had three qashqais I have been very pleased with all of them present one 1.5 diesel brilliant on fuel only trouble i have had is a new battery which was replaced free of charge as car only two years old lovely car to drive and look at
Great review ,you are very precise in all your review .Matt could you do a mash up with the 2016 Mazda cx5,Tucson and any other ,cause am interested in this two .keep it up
No one spoke about the audio system!!! This is also very important as we listen to music every day we will be using this car. I hope it is better than the Bmw professional sound!!
Just bought a 2016 Tucson really good vehicle ...yes its the base vehicle and coming out of a Citroen Picasso with all extras fitted i think I have made a very good choice ...comfy yes ...rear seat passengers have a huge amount of room yes it's got a few down sides ...lack of storage space a small problem and no spare wheel (I bought one) but the fuel economy is hugely differant over an extra 10mpg over the Picasso and the Tucson's front is more bluff ...so far after over 1000 miles I can't fault the Tucson .....it does what a car should do make you feel good about the purchase...
I got the Kia Sportage and I can say that I love it for now. I’m not so excited about the software menu which seems a little hard to use. I’m still accommodating with it as I just got it and can’t offer a long run feedback. It’s definitely easy to drive, a bit noisy on lower speeds, but I can’t feel any shaking or loud noise of 70-80mph for example. I haven’t stepped on it over 80mph yet.
You simply cannot compare the quality of the build of qashqai to the others. The qashqai is the best selling SUV cross over for a reason. Mechanically you can't go wrong and the drive is by far the best and most comfy. Also qashqai has a lot more gadgets ... I personally feel the looks of the qashqai are better then it's competitors ...
Not sure I'd agree with you entirely on the build quality. My QQ is 3 years old and had a faulty battery, glow plugs and air con system. Plus the customer service is appalling. I'm having to pay for an air con system investigation when it's Nissan's faulty design. My experience has put me off ever buying another Nissan.
I'm very interesting in Nissan just for one reason - it has collision prevention feature. Other stuff will become useless if not protected in collision.
@@thepenetrator2006 Why, could you please elaborate.. I am thinking of buying one (1.6 turbo, manual, premium + panorama roof) so any opinions, both pro's and con's are helpfull?
I get a distinct impression that this review was aimed at promoting the Hyundai and Kia, there was more negative attitude towards the Nissan than the Kia and Hyundai combined.
I have to say that i love the Tucson, the only gripe i have with it is the bland and dull interior and the lifeless steering. But on the upside it's practical, functional and easy to use. And in a crossover like this that's what matters the most. I'd rather have a functional 8 inch touchscreen then nice soft touches around it. Although those nice soft touches and small detail finishing are always a welcome plus for the next version... Everything on the outside of the car is great. From the firm looks, to the way it stands out and just looks quite aggressive and head turning. I think the Kia looks Unique but at the same time it isn't the ideal approach and looks a little off for me at least. Especially the front end! The Nissan looks functional but it's infotainment system just looks horribly outdated. That alone is a reason i wouldn't go for the Nissan. Above all that i find it the most boring to look at out of all 3 of them. I've almost had 15.000 Km on my Tucson and not a single problem yet! Never had to change oil, no cracking sounds in the interior etcetera. Overall a great buy and a satisfied customer with the Tucson. Never expected this kind of class and overall quality from a Korean!
Intrepid Milotic people complain of electrical problems in the cabin and engine problems - a quick Google search brings up lots of examples. I just got a Tucson and it's great
I can confirm that Qashqais are unreliable. Mine is 3 years old and had a faulty battery, glow plugs and air con system. Plus the customer service is appalling. Such a shame because everything else about the car is great.
have a hyundai tucson diesel after 4 half year the turbo went they tried to blame my mechanic for putting wrong oil in the end they fixed it next out of guarantee the ignition switch -starter alternator front spring broke steering rack changed worse car ive ever had apart from cortina but at least that was easy to fix best was escort
Isn't Qashqai a segment smaller that the Tucson and Sportage? X-trail should be compared with these two, and that will definitely trump ahead in terms of space and usability.
The Nissan looks the best, personally, but you'll use that infotainment system every day and it wouldn't be able to take the sluggishness. The Kia looks horrible compared to its predecessor. Therefor, I would take the Hyundai. -Master
Manuals fail too. I'm in Europe and hate that manuals are more popular. I can't even do a test drive with an automatic, because dealers don't have automatics available for test drives here..
On their web site kia claims Sportage 1.7 diesel 115hp has 11.5 s 0-60mph which is bogus and fake as her sister Huyndai Tucson same engine give 13.7 sec 0-60 mph damn kia
