I have 2008 SE. The airflow is very weak. I am going to take my air filters out. In hopes of getting a stronger thrust of hot air in the winter time. Dumbest thing I ever saw was this construction. Thank you for posting

You would not believe the shit I have found in the blower without cabin filters. I have found pine needles, plastic bags, paper. All that shit makes a blower go out fast. Great video. Imo

Thank you for this video, I was able to replace my cabin air filter today. My nissan quest is equipped with bose system and behind the glove box is the amplifier which I had to remove first (4x11mm bolts). Otherwise, everything was the same as shown on your video.

Awesome video dial2fast. I have been draggin my feet to look for where the filters were, much less do them. I own an '04 SL, that does have them - and THEY ARE DIRTY!!! I personally recommend if you haven't done it - do it!

I finally did this today. Not too bad. I needed some patience to install the second filter as it wouldn't go in easy. A little patience. I have had the car since new in 2008 and the filters were nasty. Interestingly two of the screws holding the filter panel were not there. oh well. Thanks again

ok the second filter refuses to go in, I've bought 2 sets of these and the top one keeps getting crumbled up because it won't slide in. are the little tabs up or down

I would have never suspected ours had two filters. My guess is eather ours has never been changed or only one has been changed. I cannot count how many times I have found the filter plugged with leaves and whatnot and looking like its never ever been changed. Sometimes to the point the air didn't even work except on high. Our 2nd vehicle had a filter and even the manual failed to note the filter being in it. I put one in one of ours too that had the capability to have a filter, they just never put one in, much like that model. They are cheap enough now on line you can order two for half of what one used to cost at the dealer.

My SL has cabin filters...and listen people, they really don't need replacing, but maybe about 5 yrs. There really is not a need to maintenance

where did you get all the chrome grill trim? love the fog light rings i got an SE and will do this filter change soon. thanx. I would've loved to have seen you actually replace the filters. but the rest of it was explained well.

The grill is simply cut from a roll of chrome molding you buy from auto parts store. Just find the width that you want to use.

Ntch Pt1 they are double sided tape. Just stick it on the nobby grill pieces.

antifreezze smell in my 2004 nissan quest when i turn the heater on...every now and then it sounds like other blower comes on and off...besides the heater blower...thats when the smell gets putty bad....do you have any idea what that could be,,,, thanks

+armando Aguirre If you smell antifreeze in the car, you might have a leak on the hose going to the heater core. Hot coolant flows into the car through the heater core to heat your car. Check behind the floor of the dash and see if it's wet. Also check your coolant level and see if it's dropping.

The air filter was an option for my model year. So all you need to do is buy the filters and install it. The filter will fit without problem, and if you already have them installed, just change it as part of maintenance.

Anybody here ever have to replace one of the bulbs for the rear license plate? It's even worse than doing the glove box filter stuff. It's very cold where I live and plastic breaks when you try to play with it. Quest is obviously designed for a warmer climate.
