Thank you soooooo much for this video. My mechanic was tryna charge me $100+ to do this, and I was broke after I got the fluids changed. So I bought the parts from Walmart, best price, and I did this in 1 Saturday morning. Now my car is running great. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🔥🔥❤️🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for this. My husband was charged $356 labour for replacing the spark plugs on our Nissan Rogue, last Saturday. He knows little about cars. He was charged over $100 for the plugs. He was traveling the next day and hasn't had time to follow up. Is there anyway in the world a burnt out/stuck plug could incur such a charge? It was half the yearly maintenance bill. I can't get my head around it.
It's not an issue until the spark plugs themselves are removed. I use compressed air on the entire area after the coils are removed, then a vacuum cleaner in each spark plug well -- before removing any spark plugs.
My oem plugs were gapped at what looked like .40, the new ones are .44 and my mileage tanked! Should I get .40 gapped plugs, or will that mileage funkiness straighten itself out? The engine wasn’t skipping or misfiring after the new plugs, but I swapped back the old ones until I could be certain.
@@nicolegwynn2462 extensions is much needed just because of how deep it is it should be a size 14mm idk what that is in SAE BUT I recommend getting a thin wall one that’s mean for spark plug works and has a magnetic tip
