I bought the sv for myself in the super black about a month ago and absolutely love it. I then bought my wife the platinum in boulder gray pearl about a week later because she liked mine so much and she loves it. They drive amazing and the gas mileage is really good for not being in a hybrid. Hers has a ton of options mine does not but I didn’t need or want all that. I live in Utah and we just had about 3 ft of snow fall yesterday and this thing did amazing. I did use the snow mode because I was a little terrified as I had been driving a lifted 4x4 GMC pickup prior to this purchase. It didn’t spin the tires or slip at all. Really stuck to the road and I love that I can see how the car transfers power between the front and rear tires on the dash display. Yeah it doesn’t have the “wow this thing is fast” factor but I feel if you are buying one of these vehicles that is probably not really what you’re looking for. We don’t have a need for speed so these have ample power to get up to speed quick, merging onto freeways, or needing to make a sudden change to avoid an incident. Would definitely recommend this vehicle to anyone. Thank you for your reviews. Did a bunch of research on this and am glad we made this choice.

Really appreciate your honest review. It's interesting to see the difference in user experience with the car. I too wish they didn't cheap out on the navigation. What I had issues with is the cruise control gets disabled when I go on long drives. The "collision sensor warning" would randomly start flashing... And this only happened twice on two trips in the mountains... Not sure if it's snow or bugs getting in the way...but it feels like it's not doing what it was meant for if that's all it takes to disable it. It stops when I get back to the city again .. really bizarre. Other than that, I've been loving the car so far.

i got the 2022 model in march with the 3 cyl 1.5l turbo, really love it , but almost the same issues you explaned! I use the dial a lot, in standard mode the turbo and throttle body response is almost too much, so as soon i get in the car i put it in ECO mode, a softer response and probably save me on Tire wear! Also the fuel consumption is so much different from city to highway! Owned the previous rogue with the 2.5l before. In city there's not much difference between old and new rogue, but on highway... that's when the new one shines!! I babyied once on a 26 mile stretch and got a 42.1 MPG pretty impressive! thanks for the video!!

I have this new 22, it's FWD and basically I really like it in the SV trim. BUT when my radio is off, I can hear this annoying whistle or whirr noise above say 35 mph. It's most noticeable upon decelerating from say 45 or 50. I've been told by a service writer on a test drive that it's probably the turbo making this whirring noise. I swear I didn't hear it on the test drive before I purchased it 5 months ago. Anyone else out there have the new 22 Turbo Rogue and hear this same whirr? I'm hoping that someone sees this and replies back with "heard the same noise, my dealer fixed mine!".

Bought my 2021 Rogue last month (April 2022) and it’s my 1st since buying a Nissan Frontier in 2013. What a difference. I was so nervous to test drive it, I asked the salesgirl to drive to the cemetary and then I would take over. Everything is different for me. Starting her up…shifting mode…park….brake, computer dash…..Ugh! I’m in my 60’s and I’m ok with change but geez, this newer technology all at once is a bit much. Didn’t get the Nissan Connect either cause I won’t use it here in Hawaii. I don’t like that cars are so computerized now cause I’m thinking of the cost to fix something should it brake down. AND….I am a bit…ok, a lot, challenged when it comes to computer technology. BUT…the ride is smooth. It’s a lot quieter than my previous cars. And I love all the camera help when I’m parking!!!! I’ll get use to the rest. Heck…I still do my checklist in my head when starting her up and turning her off. Thanks for the great video! 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼💕🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼

I like how you're passionate about the work that you do. When you're selling cars, you might as well get really into it. Pro pilot assist. I don't like it. It zig zags left and right bouncing between lines and I don't like how it can't hug more towards the right. When I manually drive I prefer to drive a tad more at the right side, especially on country roads. I've tried it a few times, but have since turned it off. The lane departure thing I also don't really like for the same reason. I test drove a CR-V before the Rogue, and it does the same thing, so it's me where I drive to safe for cars to understand, lol.

My 2021 Rogue turned 10 months and what I noticed when outside temperature reaches -15ºC or colder, the front collision sensor warning turns off by itself. The dashboard light warning goes off. After the weather warms up a bit, it goes back to normal. Then the rear windscreen washer freezes. I tried wiping the spout with paper napkin but it doesn't solve the problem. It takes time before I get to have my washer fluid work at the back. Everything else is satisfactory and works as expected.

I have a 22 Rogue, basically like everything EXCEPT the heat/AC is wacky! When the car is all warmed up, the SYNC mode is not putting out the same temp air on both sides. The driver's side air is always 2-3 degrees warmer than what is coming out of the passenger side vents. So most of the time, I take it off of SYNC and we just dial in our own temps. But the worst part is when the car is cold, for maybe the first 10-15 mins, if I want cool-ish air, I have to go all the way down to LO in order to get cold air, then when I dial it up even one degree to 61, I have warm air! Seems the vehicle only has COLD or WARM, nothing in between. And I can't use AUTO or it takes over where the air goes...the temp...the blower speed.. The dealer says that's the way it's supposed to work. I've had 40 cars and I've never had a car that had these issues. Anyone else having same issues with HVAC....and any resolutions from Nissan?

Now that the 2022 Rogue is getting a new KR15DDT on only its second year into this generation, I think Nissan should've let the old Rogue continue on for one more year as the 2021 Rogue, meanwhile developing that engine for the 2022 Rogue and working on the new Qashqai/Rogue Sport before working on a new Rogue if they can't have the new engine out by then. I also say the same for Mitsubishi, the ourgoing Outlander is not as outdated as the smaller Outlander Sport/ASX, and Mitsubishi should've released a redesigned Sport before redesigning the Outlander, that way the redesigned Outlander could also come right off the bat with that new KR15 engine. If they needed to breakeven the costs from developing the PR25 engine (found in the reality 2021 Rogue and 2022 Outlander, as well as 2019-present Altima), they could've addressed breaking even with the rest of the 6th gen Altima's cycle instead of one year of a redesigned Rogue/Outlander.

Great honest review. The shifter would be problematic for me. You've really increased the quality of your vids. Like an older brother, I will critique them, yet I'm still one of your all-time fans. It is ownership reviews that we all learn from each other. The 2021 Rogue starts at $25k (usd) for FWD and up to Platinum AWD at $36,800 (usd). Although I'm not necessarily a Nissan fan, a well equipped Honda Civic is $30k (with cloth seats!). My point is the Rogue might be a good bang for your loonie. PS According to Merriam-Webster dictionary: Pop (noun): 1) a short quick explosive sound, 2) a shot from a gun, 3) a bright or prominent burst of something. 4) a blue Pepsi can that is impeded by the Rogue shifter, as a Canadian Nissan Connoisseur with a "Van" in his name, reaches for it to quench his thirst. 🥤😎

Thanks for your review. I have been thinking of purchasing a Rogue but resisted the 2021 model in spite of all the good review because of the negative comments that were mentioned in almost every review - namely the underpowered engine. I was hoping that the 2022 model would add a turbo. Well, Nissan did add a turbo to the 2022 model but also dropped the displacement to 1.5 l. Three cylinders!!! I know that includes a 10% increase in torque and horse power but how does that affect the wear and tear on such a small engine? I say small because it's the smallest engine I've ever heard of in a :regular: sized car. Comments from owners invited.
