Omg thank wish I found this video before I went to the dealership. Told me it would be $900 to fix. About to go do this now. You’ve gained a new follower👏🏽
Thank you @deedrasmith1976. Hopefully this is the ultimate solution on your problem. Please note that this is the remedy only if the light came on erractically due to some electronic glitches, it's not a real fix if your SRS system really does have a problem. If the light somehow came back on in the future, most likely something is wrong with the airbag system.
OMG I tried to get my car inspected and they told me I would have to replace my Airbag modules at a ridiculous cost. Thank you so much! I hope that corrects the issue
Hopefully this works for you but it's not a magic key to solve every problem related to airbag module. Let us know how it turns out. Thank you very much.
@@HeadTurnNet well, 1 year later and the light just came back on. Tried to reset again and it only stays clear for about 2-300 miles then comes back on. Looks like i need to get a replacement module. Tbh, the economy is terrible, I own the car outright, and its a good car otherwise, so... it makes sense to just fix it. Thanks the the info again. 👍
My Nissan 2019 Rogue Sport airbag Red light stays On Solid (does not Blink as yours does). It started when I had to disconnect the center console once. Any suggestions?
you tube how to change the module, I'm doing it now, I am a woman with a degree in automotive mechanics, this is a great hack, but did not work the firs time for me, so I'm doing it again, then I'll replace the module depending on where its located. Uggh!
I have a 2010 Nissan Rogue and tried this. It didn’t work for mine. The light is still flashing. Do these modules just stop working? Do I need to take it in?
Then you gotta have a professional mechanic scanned the error code on the SRS airbag system, before proceeding to the next step. The method shown in this video is just to erase any error code stored in the computer, but if something is not working right in the first place, obviously the light will come back on sooner or later.
If something is faulty in the system, this won't work. This is only to reset the light triggered by glitches or bugs in the airbag system. Anyways, I hope you could resolve your airbag issue soon.
Sorry to hear that. This only works for certain conditions to reset the light. If there is any underlying problem which triggers the light on again this will not work.
