@IrishChris1979 Thanks! The Titan hit the rev limiter when i lost traction, thats why it shifted into 2nd. Then once in 2nd it gripped and shifted back down to 1st.
@blake3180 I have the transgo already, just didnt list it in the video. I live in Galveston, but i drive to Arlington every few months. Thats where these races took place. What do you got?
The new 5.0 GTs are putting down mid- high 12s in stock trim. I never ran mine when I was stock, but with a C&L cold air, Kooks longtube headers into a 3" catted X Pipe, Pypes Violator mufflers, 3:73 gears and Evolution Performance 93 octane tune, Ive gone a best of 11.76 on Mickey ET Steets and put down 414/396 HP/TQ to the wheels on a DynoDynamics chassis dyno.
This is definitely a cool video... That transmission sucks for racing in that titan though. Why would it upshift too early at WOT & then have to downshift? I guess it's more for cruising than racing. It's damn quick for a truck though. Good racing guys.
Dont get me wrong G37 is a really good looking, handles great and is fairly quick for a NA V6, but I dont care how good you can drive your G, a bolt-on GT S197 with a halfway decent driver will go .4-.6 faster than a stock G37. The Infiniti will put down a 14.20 stock and 13.9 or so with sticky tirea. A bolt on S197 will pull around 13.20-13.30 all day long.
