The people that talk the most negativity don’t own the car and just want to hate it. The Z is a GREAT car and it’s a good platform to mod. I’m extremely happy with my purchase.

I have been a Z fan way back before I could even afford one and have owned a 300ZX, 350z, and two 370Z's, but this one I think they really missed the mark on the exterior styling. The large rectangular grill on the front is horrible, and the rear end reminds me of a 1986 Mazda RX-7 that I owned so even if you want to keep the car fairly stock in appearance the funky rear spoiler still looks like something the original Camaro used to have. The stainless strip along the roofline is also something I would expect on cars from the 1960's or 70's. I'm getting too old to consider another car at this point so I will probably drive my 370Z until I can no longer drive. It will be interesting to see what after-market body kits do with this car, but the rear tail-lights will be hard to conceal unlike the 370Z's which blend with all kits I have seen, but the front grill will probably be much easier to work with. I really hate it when auto makers use retro designs since they are designs we have gone beyond, and if someone wants an old design go buy a classic. We will see if Nissan has success with this new model, but if I were not older and retired and was looking for a new sports car I would go with the Toyota Supra.

This Z has some old Z shapes like the 240's 260,280, 300zx 80;s with all of the tech have these days you cannot go wrong when you have money the sky is the limit. thanks for your opinion on this Z.

I like my 2010 coupe convertable better. It's no longer sexy looking at the rear of the new one. Looking at my flared fenders and the rollbars from the back, awsome.
