I've had my MX10 for about 5 years now. I love it. The strap retainer broke recently, but within 2 days I had a new one. Those 2 days were the longest, I wear my watch 24 hours a day, and when I wake in the night I go for my watch. Glad to have the MX10 back on my wrist.
Thank you very much for answer. I ´ve done a little research and found out, that few years ago they changed supplier of polymer straps. Before it some consumers posted photos with broken strap and almost everyone said that polymer strap broken within one year. I am now sure i ll take polymer. I’ve got one and the lume is amazing, I can see it very clearly in the dark. A normal watch is this good for about five seconds after you switch the light off and then it’s gone. This one is always bright all night and I love it. Although my wife does complain if I end up sleeping with my hand near her face, it’s that bright!
When a watch is called ‘Nite’ and it’s popularity is because of it’s tritium illumination, when you are reviewing it don’t you think it would help to turn the lights off for a few seconds so we can see it?
Hi Tom. The pro to the polymer is that they are lighter and more conforming to the wrist. They also will not pull hairs like a bracelet may. I don't know of any downsides assuming they are high quality. Cheap ones will be stiff and crack after a few years, but you don't get that on a watch of this caliber. My strap is in perfect shape after a few years of regular wear. I'm not sure I'd ever need to replace it.

Nice video-fiddling-around and repeating of items already mentioned in ads. But please extract crown and show 'hacker' - function, as this is very important in watch synchronization preceding split second group operations.
It's relatively small and as such not too invasive. However, a crown is a crown and depending on how much meat is on your wrist you will probably have some degree of printing.
Good shots. I looked at many watches. I am very fussy. I just had to have this one. My ONLY issue with this watch is that it lacks a screw down crown. But you can't have everything right!
The illumination of the Nite watches are terrible, they use graphically enhanced images on their website. I left a review on Trustpilot about a watch that I bought from them, I'm still in dispute with them as its against the sale of goods act in the Uk to sell watches that are not as described.

Have one of these watches - crown and stem came away in my hand within 6 months..... I also see the straps are poor, though mine was fine (search on google). No luck with the warranty - they specifically exclude crown and stem from the warranty.... and regardless of the fact it was under 6 months, blamed all possible faults on me - I work in an office... not really worth the money...
+david fotheringham Thank you for the honest opinion on the durability of the watch. I would be ticked off too if a watch would break after 6 months of use. They just lost a customer with their poor warranty coverage. What good is a watch without its crown & stem?
I was seriously interested in buying one of these, but thanks to the honest comments below from owners of these watches that describe what they are in reality I shall give it a miss. £300-£600 for a misrepresented product, should be sold at a fraction of the cost.
Thanks for the review. How loud is the ticking on this watch, I can't bear loud tick tock sounds. Timex are renowned fir loud ones. I hope this is quiet.
Nice video! I just got my nite mx10 in black a few days ago. But the finish does not appear as black as yours in indoor lighting. It seems there is a grayish tinge under incandescent lighting. Is your watch this way also? I sometimes think it looks like a dark gunmetal instead of a pure black. If you could kindly describe the black that the case material looks like to you, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for the review!

Looks nice, but the fact that the glass is protruding out of the bezel makes it unappealing to me. It seems like it would get scratched up really fast. The only thing I see going for this watch is the night time capabilities. It doesn't seem like a tough watch. The prices seem a little too high. The other models seem a bit nicer.
Even it's made of sapphire it's still prone to breaking and scratching. I mean iphone screens are made of the same sapphire crystal and even they are prone to scratching and breaking so the point i made is relevant. I'll just stick to my G Shock for now I love G shock. I have had no scratches or anything made to them and ive even thrown the watch around my self on purpose. These watches are still nice however and i generally take good care of my watches so if i had one i wouldnt be so worried, but i just made that statement because sometimes you arent in control of what could happen.
+The Rooster the sapphire crystal use on NATO approved watches or on iPhones is something different. like 'stainless steel' 440A steel is not nearly s good as VG-10. see what i mean? the lenses of iPhones are made of sapphire not the screens :p and this one is tripe layered

I've had an MX10 400T for three years and its a such a good watch, but don't get the rubber strap I've had two so far (I wear it in the shower which you shouldn't). just ordered the stainless steel strap.
I actually went ahead and got that watch. I love it. I got the PVD coated MX10-201S with the bracelet. I also got a rubber strap. I put the rubber strap on because I generally dislike wearing steel bracelets. Strap is holding up good. As far as I remember reading, the straps have been updated.
