We sat down for a chat with Roger Green, CEO of NITE watches, to discuss the history of the company and why he loves Tritium illumination. Roger has been working with Tritium watches for nearly 25 years and took the time to enlighten us on how this amazing luminescence is manufactured and how it works.
Stay tuned for part 2 where Richard and Roger analyse NITE's range of Tritium watches and Roger shares more fascinating stories about the company and the benefits of Tritium.

Agreed. Tritium may fade and die over the course of 25 years, but it doesn't overnight like Superluminova. I own both styles and prefer tritium by a mile.

Can we get an Alpha that is just slightly smaller in diameter?

Or an MX10 with a screw in crown?

Yeah, I wish that the MX10 and the HAWK both had screw-in crowns. If they had screw-in crowns, they would be perfect!

Tritium is an unstable isotope of hydrogen. So when he says gaseous he just means hydrogen.

Nahhhh beta and alpha can still cause cancer my boii BUT mostly when intakten so inhaled in this case. Also because of bremsstrahlung in the sourounding Glas there will still be some (low powered) x rays leaving the tube. But yes: so minor that it is zero concern!
