Interesting light. I see this as a no-brainer for the armed citizen or plains clothes police or security work. Primarily a tactical/defensive light with enough functionality to serve as general purpose. Wear a suit and tie and carry a gun? This is your light. I'm tempted.

A defensive light with direct access to Turbo/Strobe, providing you s-l-o-w-l-y unlock it first to avoid being burnt. What is the point?

For an EDC light this has a lot of everyday carry-unfriendly features. This is a tactical light and not an all-the-time flashy boi.

Wait! On this Nitecore model the proximity sensor _can't_ disabled at all? Glad I watched your review video before buying one! I can live with a proprietary battery. On certain flashlight models, I can live with a captive proprietary battery as well. But not being able to disable the proximity sensor even temporarily (like you can on the Nitecore MH12 Pro), THAT is a deal-breaker for me. Thank you for saving me around $90.oo

Am I the only guy who CANNOT STAND the strobe feature?? WHY !!!!!??????? I HATE THE STROBE FEATURE !!!!!

All the flashaholics I know hate the strobe feature, and just don't understand the strive of manufacturers to make it as accessible as possible...

To me a strobe function availability and first preference in use of force continuum after vocal command is better than any escalation between me and others in breaking the cycle of drama.

One thing that hits me in the eye is that you cannot put the light on the pocket and use it to illuminate the things in front of you. In this sense you cannot use it for real tactical purposes. Just imagine both your hands are needed AND you need to see something. FAIL. Remember the US Army lights in Vietnam? No 3000 lumens, yet fully tactical.

I don't think it's really intended to be a hands free tactical light. They have others more suited for that purpose if that's what your after
