Got some nice features on this new model, the lockout an charging port don't like the battery that you cannot replace thx Mr B

Yeah that's a problem for me too, if they made it with a removable battery it would be a hit for me overall

The lockout switch is a winner. The built in battery not so much. I just measured my Klarus XT2CR Pro, which I quite like. The EDC33 is smaller, lighter, more powerful (in turbo).

The lock is great, good design and easy to use. I'm not into the built in battery idea at all, but give me this with a replaceable battery and smooth down the body knurling a bit and you have a winner.

As much as I hate the internal non removable battery, I'm heavily considering this as an edc carry because of its size and weight. I'm mostly looking for a flood light now, higher cri and warmer white is preferred but we usually don't get that from tactical lights anyway. I know there's a relatively new version of the jetbeam m37 with warm white but that's about it. However it's size and weight.. I see that you always feature the th10r in your reviews. In between this edc33, th10r, g15v2. Which one would you recommend for edc? They're all similarly priced here as well. Thanks

If this has a removable battery, no question it would probably be top of the list for EDC carry, overall it's a winner. But it doesn't and I'm a bit concerned about how many models have built in batteries, we shouldn't be moving in that direction at all IMO. There is a new MT2C Pro with an 18650 cell similar size but it only has high and low outputs (sigh), so that's off the list for me. The G15V2 is pretty good and compact, but I found the beam a bit floody for me personally. So I use the TH10R, as the beam has more range. I quite like the switches/design overall

They seem to sell their prototype designs with little upgrade to make money.

I didn't see the prototype stages, there are some design elements that I like and don't like as mentioned

Silly design with a non removable battery, the reason I would never buy it .

I don't get the trend for non removable batteries myself
