Dear friend ur idea no word.u r jeeinious.I never saw like this before u have saved so many indians and international alkhemist body efective from nitric thnks.j.krishnamurti
Great video! Appreciate you sharing! I've never seen this method using potassium nitrate and hcl. Can't wait to try it, been using hcl and bleach, hate the fumes and mask, this way seems AWESOME! Good man!
Nitric fumes are very corrosive especially to the lungs when are you going to start heat bleaching again very good video I have some of that stump out I'll try it
I have light brown powder at bottom of my jar the solution I filtered in the morning there is this light brown mud it is gold? How or when can I melt it
The Acid will be diluted if not distilled. Cannot perform nitrations. If you distill you still have NO2 emitted because HNO3 breaks down at higher temps. H2SO4 + KNO3 does produce more visible fumes but you get azeotropic ( 65% ) or up to (90 % ) just do this outside and take care not to breathe the fumes.
Hello, so, sodium nitrate or potasium nitrate? Sodium nitrate is cheaper here. Also I want to mix sodium nitrate and hydrogen sodium sulfate (NaHSO4 aka pH minus) for disolving base metals in gold containing electro scrap. Any idea about that?
When I just testing for gold I know when in solution no nitric acid or very little , but if I leave that solution for longer period of time that little nitric will dissolve gold.but I just testing and I don’t cere what’s happen in another 10 minutes.you need to have more experience then you can see what’s going on .
Nice show. I use sodium nitrate (ACS version) and HCL. 10 grams of sodium nitrate with 60 mls of HCL with broken yellow gold jewelery pieces. It melts everything within one hour. It warms up on its own from the chemical reaction. It still makes red fumes. I put a plug with a 1/4 inch tube from the erlenmeyer flask containing the aqua regia/gold, going into a jar with water mixed with some sodium bicarbonate to cut down the fumes. A little ammonia with the water works better than bicarbonate to cut down the gases. The plastic tube is about a 12" long. It still should be done outside or in a fume hood, the chlorine smell is very noticable. Its a basic sweeper that works well outdoors. My problem is that when I do the stannous chloride test the color is coffee brown then minutes later it turns into a bright yellow color. The gold will not drop with SMB, with iron sulfate it just turns brown at the bottom half of liquid and no gold drop, and not even with 20 grams ascorbic acid. Maybe if I place a steel rod the gold will drop. I think the bright yellow color is for platinum? But your electric method to drop the gold is very easy. It eliminates all the guessing why the gold is not dropping. Thanks.
