2023 Conference Championship quarterfinal condensed game - 9/16/2023 - Nitro Circus/Candy Shop/Ataraxis (MD-AA) vs Resmondo/Smashit/All American/Menosse (FL-Major) at the Indy Sports Park in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was 66 degrees and they used the Dudley Stadium ZN ball (FK code) on a 335-390-395-335-295 foot field with a 14 HR limit.

7&8 are definitely big fields. Played on 8 for senior tourney & not much went out. 7 was only open for bp thankfully 🤣

Just from me watching this game, I could tell the ball was not going to pop off the bat like we thinking watching this game. But still was a good game

They play the Major World Series at the Spacecoast complex next month so they like to spread the tournaments around.

According to google earth the homerun at 15:50 was about 450ft. It didnt hit the truck. It one hopped the other fence out there.

@@Derrick2 When I pull the clip into my video editor it appears the top of the fence blocks out the yellow ball meaning it landed on the other side of the fence then it appears to take one bounce and hit the truck between the top of the wheel and the fender. Definitely a bomb.

There are quality sports complexes all around the country that have turf fields with normal dimensions and basepath distances. Im not sure why CUSSSA would play the game on one type of field most of the season (300ish fences/75 foot bases), have the conference championships on a different type of field (baseball size field with 80/85 foot bases), and then go back in a month to another different size field (baseball stadium/75 foot bases) for Worlds. Constantly changing the parameters of the game is bad for it. Makes the entire regular season feel pretty much irrelevant.

The men's Major World Series is played in October on a pro sized baseball field so they want the big teams to get ready for that. We also played on baseball fields at the Hall of Fame Classic, Jim Beam Classic, Smoky, and Seattle Dual. We play Conference events on all sized fields.

thank you DW. I lie the field size and longer bases... Resmondo looked a little rusty... lots of flyouts... but had just enough to win this game. I dont think either 3rd baseman made a play. That was a great catch by the leftfielder on Riley.

I also liked the baseball field but it definitely favored lefties. Cabot Van Til with the catch. Infields were hard and fast.

The box does not matter in softball. as long as your back foot isn’t in front of the plate, or your front foot doesn’t step in front of the plate you are good !

The umps are terrified to call actual strikes in these guys. Umpiring is pretty bad cause the players gotta have the pitch perfect.

Tbh, the strike zone and flight changes every game if not most innings 😂. There needs to be a truly defined zone. Slowpitch needs robo umpires wayyyy more than MLB does.

Amazing how every fly ball no one runs whether it goes out or not. Pro level and these guys can’t run it out. Love to see th an drop and get bobbled. Lazy

At this level anything in the air should be caught but on the small chance it’s easier to ease up then to get started. So I agree

If you don't hustle at this level you won't be around long. Remember some of these guys had leg injuries, two had plantar faceitis.

@@Voge21 playing shape is playing shape. These guys can either play the 5 to 12 games a weekend at the top level or they can't. Pretty much everyone you see in the videos can even if you are saying they are out of shape.
