The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee on September 14, 2015 with founding members Jeff Hanna and Jimmie Fadden plus Bob Carpenter and John McEuen. They are joined by Sam Bush on mandolin, Jerry Douglas on dobro Byron House on bass, Vince Gill on Guitar, Jackson Browne on vocals, Alison Krauss on vocals, Jerry Jeff Walker on guitar and Jimmy Ibbotson on guitar. Taped for PBS to be aired next March 2016.

Amazing band. Just carrying on a great tradition of pure Americana. This is also one of the great sing along songs of all time.

I remember when I 1st heard the 1st Circle album, in the fall of 1975. We have all 3 Circle cd’s, my sons like Circle 2 best, because they are 80’s-90’s babies, grown men now. I told my son, this is the song I want played at my memorial, someday.

My local pbs station put it late at night when i am a sleep. How many times do i need to watch the special with the old folk singers? Put it on in the early evening on a weekend.
