NIV The Jesus Bible | Review 

I have this Bible. Although it is physically beautiful, I hope no one relies on the "study notes" on their own. The notes are very surface level. I would rank this more as a Bible with extremely simple devotional notes. This is a good gift for a brand new believer.

I have this Bible and love it. You are def right when you say that it helps you see Jesus before he were here on earth I’m thankful for this Bible for that reason and it’s great for a new believer as well.

I have this exact same bible, cover and all! I purchased 2 years ago from Etsy and owner put the most gorgeous bible tabs on it! I love the bible for its beauty. Mine is also NIV. As for content, the notes are good, but I don't rank it in my top ten. That doesn't mean I don't love it though! I am currently using it to read through with three commentaries: John MacArthur, N.T. Wright, and the Believer's Bible Commentary. Those 3 references help me go deeper as I use this Bible. I am highlighting and make lots of notes throughout. Overall, I am very happy with this gorgeous Bible. (How funny! I also have the hardback version; it has a lot of notes and sits in my bookcase; the gray linen cover just puts me off.)

Aw, man, I wish I could upload a photo of my tabs on this bible. You would love them. I no longer recall the Etsy shop owner I bought the bible from, but the tabs she put on the bible are a perfect match. They book titles are large and bold, the colors exactly the same as the cover and the style is Boho. You would love them, I think. They are my favorite of any of the tabs on any of my bibles.

That has been a struggle for me lol I already have a Bible but I thought I needed a different version. I wanted a cute and a newer one. I bought 3 Bibles and sent the all back, I just wasn’t vining with them. Now my Bible is feeling like it’s mines. I just needed to read it more and make notes. ❤

I had this one and gave it away. I'm happy you got another copy. I recently started writing about the whole topic of having a Bible buying addiction. I have a KJV Open Bible on the way. 😔 Do you own a copy of the ESV large print personal size Charlene? For some reason I can't get into the ESV. 😕

NIV is my favorite translation , although I do love CSB , ESV and King James
