What a wonderful review of this Bible. I have the NIV translation but I do hope they come out with a large print soon.

Hello which Bible would you recommend with a similar layout to the Jesus Bible but with a font larger than 9.5 I just received the Jesus Bible NIV and I’m so disappointed that the scripture text is too small.😢

I purchased this bible in Nov/23. I am disappointed in one thing… that they removed verses in it here and there, and put the verse at the bottom footnotes instead. Why would they do that? Knowing what i know now, i would have done my research a bit better and purchased a bible that does not remove verses.

Hi! Many translations do not have the verses you mention. This Bible publisher listed them in the footnotes, as you mentioned. Several translations differ from KJV on those verses. Years ago I Googled this topic and several websites came up. It has to do with the variety of ancient manuscripts used for specific translations. You may prefer KJV or NKJV.❤

Hi, Bev! I've seen this Bible before, but never really looked at it. Shame on me! First, I'm happy to hear that the Ravi Zacharias article was removed; that speaks volumes to me about Zondervan. I love the timelines and the how the articles correspond to the times. It's very helpful that the editors pointed out the types and shadows of Christ throughout the Bible. Sometimes it's hard to see how He is represented in the OT especially, and if we're not looking for it, we may miss it. Looks like with this Bible, we can't miss Him! And I bet the cross references in the articles and notes are very helpful in studying these themes. Thanks for this review! I've just added another Bible to my wish list!! ❤

@@BibleTreasuresAndReviews I do recall seeing that. I guess it just didn't dawn on me that I "needed" to pay attention to the particular Bible beyond the version. 🙄 I'm a little slow at times!!! But I wrote it down on my wish list, and I'm sure my book-buying budget bucket is thrilled with you now! 🤣

great review, thank you! l have the ESV version of it, l like it, but the only problem for me is the print is kind of small, l don’t know if NIV. print is a bit larger? God bless you ✨🙏

Rony, thank you for watching review!😊 From what I can find, NIV is same 9.5 font, which they consider comfort print. Maybe options will be available in future. I hope so, anyway!🤗
