Here is part 3 of my visit to the Maplewood Station. As the evening continues many NJ Transit trains are still running by frequently going to Dover, Hackettstown, and New York Penn Station. There where a good amount of deadheads also.
1. NJ Transit ALP-45DP #4511 arrives with a train to Dover. Comet V cab #6014 is trailing.
2. NJ Transit Comet V cab #6010 arrives with a local train to New York Penn Station. ALP-46A #4651 is pushing.
3. NJ Transit Comet V cab #6042 runs by with a deadhead train to Hoboken. PL42AC #4023 is pushing.
4. NJ Transit ALP-46 #4606 leads a deadhead train to New York Penn Station. Comet V cab #6083 is trailing. Meanwhile Comet V #6034 arrives with a local train to Dover ALP-46A #4657 is pushing. As this train waits in the station Comet V cab #6021 leads an express train to Dover with ALP-46A #4640 pushing.
5. NJ Transit Comet V cab #6047 runs by with a friendly engineer leading a deadhead to Hoboken. GP40PH-2B #4210 is pushing while Arrow III EMU car #1424 leads a local train to Gladstone.
6. NJ Transit Arrow III EMU car #1324 leads a local train to Hoboken.
7. NJ Transit Comet V leads a local train to Dover. ALP-46 #4627 is now pushing this train. As the train departs a Dover express runs by with ALP-46 #4613 leading a comet salad. Comet V cab #6028 is trailing.
8. NJ Transit ALP-46A #4636 leads a multilevel express train to New York Penn Station.
