They probably couldn’t use raspberry pi’s for everything mainly because at higher display resolutions it become super slow and if they were to have something moving than it wouldn’t work very well. Also they run off of sd cards which really aren’t suitable to be run 24/7 for 3 years
At my local mall, a shop has a tv display and every other day the win7 taskbar appears on it. I like to imagine that its sometimes some less intelligent employee's shift and they don't know how to hide it lmao
I remember at my local mall one of these billboard things had a bsod so I informed the staff and apparently NONE of their IT team could figure out how to fix it. I was bored so I just chilled and chatted with them while they tried. This is a small and slowly dying mall so it's very likely their IT team is just small and poorly trained. Being quite experienced with computers, I offered to help them and I got it working in 5 mins. The display drivers were corrupted somehow. They had no restore points so I had to take the hard drive out and attach it to my laptop and manually extract and copy the driver over the corrupted one and put it back in and it worked. They were exceptionally thankful and bought me lunch from the food court.
Linux not suitable for public places cause they are highly bunch of bugs and bunch of coding terminal . Windows mostly the best to use it hence it has Windows Business OS which mainly not for public use.
@@Greetsfuckers-GamingMain hmm. I think there are some embedded systems that are more suitable than desktop OS. Servers for example run special server linux, as redhat, debian and similar
@@Greetsfuckers-GamingMain Yes, it is faster to use windows, but it is definitely sucks in security and stability. Windows is best desktop OS, but not embedded
@@szymex8341 bruh this guy is all the time talking about the market share, who cares about the fucking market share, just because around %90 of humans are half brained and use windows as if it was some kinda special and magic os when it lacks of security and + essential stuff that Linux doesn't lack on. The problem with Linux not having that much of games for the normies is because of the big companies that just like the politics in my country will make all they can to screw up everything... And to finish up even Microsoft spends their money on linux because they know it's an essential tool for humanity, since it runs on basically anything you want (microwaves, spaceships, android, cars...) And also this guy said half of the servers (are you dumb?) Most servers run Linux, windows ONLY has big market share on desktop normies, there's no way it's even closed and comparable in market share in other uses

I remember, one time I was at some sort of museum or something, and one of the monitors displaying information had a full-screen Windows 11 advertisement lol
@@user-ec5nv9bf6e The whole definition of current Microsoft is an error. Best OS was Windows 7, and I am holding onto it. Because all further Windows OS are nothing but broken advertisement platform, where you DON'T OWN your computer.

Sometimes Microsoft screw up your activation- and you lose your activation. Seen it happen to number of people. My Windows was activated since 2013 - suddenly last week Microsoft is teling me I need to activate windows! FK YOU, Microsoft!
but, customers still need answers into why lag causes your machine to be so slow, even though that usually means malware is lurking around. Without Norton's Smart Firewall + Auto-Protect, folks know it has the potential to drop ransomware and 🔒 you out of your machine

Most desktop PCs at my school (school district is Orange County Public Schools in Florida) have PXE/network boot enabled. However, some newer desktops were on legacy boot and PXE instead of UEFI. Other newer desktops (e.g. Dell, 2017 and later HPs) are on UEFI boot.
As an college student, It's on because they are using it to boot from an virtual disk thats what some places use but it failed to make an connection to the windows or linux server.
Years ago, I saw two BSODs at the same time in a store called "Decathlon" (Spanish brand of sports products) and in "Caixabank". To this day, I still keep these photos that I took of that because they made me curious.
When i was a 10 i was driving on high way near the strip of las vegas and seeing an ad sign but something was off it showed somebody logging in to the pc hooked up to the ad sign lol
I didn't watched the whole video, but seeing the title and name of it remembered me of one day when I was coming back home after a small trip, and them I saw and outdoor that, instead of showing the ads it was supposed to show, it showed the computer screen from where the ads come from. It was an Windows 10 PC and I could see a folder on the desktop.
I remember I was once at a shopping district in Kanagawa when I saw a digital screen that said まもなく再起動する時間です ("It's almost time to restart") I laughed for a long time

16:50 also happened at a well-visited shopping district in Düsseldorf. The sphere thing did show weird things quite a few times, now sadly it‘s gone and being replaced.
