Like a conquering army, New Jersey Transit’s EMD fleet invaded the scene with the intent of defeating all competition!  Indeed, it sure felt that way. We saw a huge armada of Classic EMD’s. Some are seen at Hoboken along with still active F40PH-2CAT #4120, but it was Secaucus that saw an infinite barrage of the EMD’s. Never have I seen such an occupation of these machines at this location. We also saw the “Erie” heritage Geep on 3 different trains. It’s a gorgeous locomotive that ranks right up there with impeccable heritage schemes of other railroads. CSX, take note.
