A few hours at this NJT hotspot netted me tons of Heritage engines, military engines, and an Arrow MU. No ordinary modern power seen. All Classic Locomotives and Heritage paint schemes.
I used to often ride from Penn Station to Matawan, and I would see the Pennsy Heritage Unit quite a lot on that particular run. Looks like they're keeping up the tradition, because the old Pennsy GG1s used to ply that route to Long Branch years ago.
16:53 is called Cab Speed (NORAC Rule 281a) . Proceed on Cab signal indication...there's more to that rule but that's the main gist. In this case it is the best signal aspect a train will get from B track since they have to cross back over to 3 track at Portal.
I wasted $3.90. If you arrive there and stay there it’s no problem, or if you go up and stay there. To go from lower to upper and back to lower I had to splurge a little. It’s worth it
